Morning all,
Work is still exceptionally quiet, even with the new platform, but it goes like this sometimes and I don't think it's particularly pandemic related at the moment. Have completed another MB and gained £6.84. It's a pity that none of the MB money really makes a difference though - I've not got enough float to start withdrawing any. Long term it'll help though, but in the meantime it's hard to motivate myself! (And I need DH to remind me how the spreadsheet works as I've forgotten and would prefer to have a way of keeping track.) Surveys all quiet too. Have been paid another £2 from Streetbees, so that's something.
Off to BandQ shortly to buy some fence paint for the new panels - need to get this on in the next couple of days while the weather is OK. Lunch for DH will be leek and pot soup (leftover portion from yesterday) and I'll make a batch of lentil pate for some rolls from the freezer (TGTG). Have been reading Weezl's eating healthily for 50p a day thread from 2008 - some interesting ideas (snails, pig's heads etc.!) - I'll stick to the lentil pate! This afternoon I'm delivering Herman (cake and starter), having a cuppa with Mum (and maybe a walk?), and dropping off a present for Dad's GF as it's her birthday tomorrow. Going to check the orchard in the village for apples again too - I figure by now it'll only be leftovers left, so won't feel too bad availing myself of them.
MS things:
* Have decided to focus on using the big bag of soapnuts I have - I use them for wool washes, but not generally. Will stick to Ecover for whites, but no reason not to use the soapnuts for the coloured washes.
* Clicks done
* Harvesting sunflower seeds from one of my sunflowers - a slow process (the hearts have to be removed from the husks individually by hand, very fiddly!), but hopefully will get enough to use instead of pine nuts on our risottos
Gratitudes:
* Family quiz was pretty good last night
* Sun is shining
* Looking forward to seeing friend briefly when I drop Herman off (she's busy decorating living room, so won't stop, but have proper catch up planned for next week)

Sounding good, madvix. I vote for frozen peas
I love them. And ooh, I'd forgotten about doing scrambled eggs in the microwave - will definitely start doing that again.

Oof, your reference to fence painting has just prompted me to research it as we have lots that need doing with three wooden out buildings and two fences, and the outside of the house needs painting too

Morning all,
Well fence painting, planned for today, has had to be put on hold (I did get the paint though) as I have a proper decent-sized work project to work on. It arrived yesterday but went into my junk mail folder (which has never happened before for this client), resulting in a somewhat panicky voicemail from the client this morning (most out of character!). All sorted now and I'm pleased to have a good piece of work to get my teeth into. Washing is out on the line and bread has been baked, so a good start to today. I have RM survey items (multiple) to post later. Will do fence tomorrow as forecast is OK for then too.
I'm not sure what happened to me yesterday - by the time I got back from dropping Hermans off and giving Dad's GF her birthday present I was an absolute weepy wreck. Taskmaster, a hug from DH and some vodka and orange helped hugely. I feel much better today. I haven't felt like that since the middle of lockdown. I feel so much better today! I have banned the news from my life today - I think that will help.
MS things:
* PC survey
* PA surveys
* 1P surveys
* Actual work
* First small platform job has been approved - guess that means I'm acceptable!
* Cat sitting tomorrow night/Sunday morningfor my favourite (whose owner is bringing the key around today - winner!)
* Expensive bread flour (Doves malthouse) cut with plain and the wholemeal donated by MIL's friend - will get three loaves instead of two out of the bag now (and added some hg sunflower seeds)
Gratitudes:
* Dad's GF was so touched to receive a present from us
* Car behaved when I returned to the nursery (where it broke down a couple of weeks ago)
* Proper work
* It's Friday
Have a good day all!

I have added an additional gratitude for you:
* Client was panicked that you hadn't replied, and therefore places a high value on your work 😀
Love the idea of you cutting the flour - am imagining you as some kind of shady flour dealer now, dishing it out in 100g bags in dark alleys 🤣!
