I am loving the sound of the rainbow colour carrots , I am obsessed with bringing colours to my plate0

Awww! The bite sounds nasty, as does the under the weatherness, but the antibiotics and the catsitting and the brownie parents are all wonderful! Using your brain is a bit tiring, by the way
Hope you can get some fresh air.
2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Morning all,
Thanks TH and KC. The rainbow carrots are lovelyKC, I'd amend that about the antibiotics - they're causing side effects! We were meant to be going to a party today, but have decided it's not a good move.
I came on here to announce one of those apparently rare and elusive moments (on my diary anyway!) - we've just made an OP of £628! :T This takes us to just under £84,000.
In other MS news:
* PC survey
* Claimed £11 from Jobsp0tter and have received the voucher
* Another £2 already on JS
* Finishing last of an extra survey for RM today, so another £5 voucher due
* Not eating very much because of new antibiotic diet (can't eat for 3 hours around tablets, don't want to eat anyway!)
* YG survey
* NV survey
Gratitudes:
* Met Brown Owl for a quick cuppa yesterday
* Have discovered the joy of scrabble on my phone
* DH and I have traded jobs so he'll cut the grassMortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

What a shame about the unpleasant effects of antibiotics
Congratulations on the OP! Since you're not eating much, I won't provide any virtual cakethough seriously, hope you both gather your strength again over a quiet weekend.

Morning all,
Thanks KarmaFeeling much better today (and yesterday). Antibiotics have requirement that they have to be on an empty stomach ... feeling peckish now but can't eat anything for another few minutes, so this is a good distraction.
I should have said that the OP was part of the settlement of the massive invoice for my American client - all paid dead on time, so very, very happy about that. Money was also allocated to savings for holiday, a new mattress (still thinking on this) and my S&S ISA, so a good balance all round. Also managed to pay for new phone without batting an eyelid... if only I was paid that much every month!! :rotfl:
Will be going to see Mum and Niece later as work is quiet. Am expecting a big project to begin this week, so am making the most of it being quiet.
MS things:
* Listed a few bits on ebay
* RM posting after lunch
* Entered some postal comps - have some acquired postcards and free stamps from survey (a surfeit!), so figured I might as well
* Normal weekly comps entered
* Meter readings done - credit is growing nicely
* Pulled several kilos of rhubarb and will put to various uses/freeze. This might be the last lot, although knowing it's triffid-like status, it may not be!
* Picked and blanched some beans
* YG surveys
* Clicks etc.
Gratitudes:
* Saw extended family at Nan's yesterday - possibly the last time we'll all be together there
* Feeling better - it's always so hard to realise how carp you feel when you're ill and I realise after the fact
* Sun is out again now, drying the washing that the rain has just soaked (and which soaked me while I was pulling rhubarb!)

Just done a quick forecast and income will be substantially down this month, so am aiming for a low-spend month I think. Should be doable without too much deprivation! Plenty of vouchers we can use should we fancy a meal out and this is only my income, so DH can treat me if he feels like it. Will need a supermarket delivery and a veg box or two, but otherwise we're well stocked up with food.Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

Afternoon all,
A productive morning today - some work, lots of house work, dinner is in the SC (getting the hang of it I think!) and various bits of admin done. Afternoon will be more of the same and some gardening.
I completed my tax return yesterday :A so once I can confirm that my calculations match HMRC's, I'll be able to put some money in my pension. :T
MS things:
* Some actual work this morning (although still waiting on big project)
* Clicks etc. done. Good SBs survey for 3 mins effort
* PA surveys and a 1P too - £36.40 now
* RM survey item posted
Gratitudes:
* Mum got me an ice cream from the ice cream man just as I arrived yesterday
* Exhausting but fun time with niece (and gave mum a break - niece didn't nap yesterday!)
* DH potted up my rose for me
Have a good afternoon all - I'll be away from the 'puter this afternoon!Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

Excellent work going on here :j And a good overpayment! :money: well done :money: Not heard of the Job Spotter app (bizarrely though have seen quite a few jobs advertised locally in the last few days - no idea why my eye keeps being drawn to them as I am very definitely NOT looking for a new job, certainly not delivering for the local takeaway! :eek: :rotfl: )
Yay for ice cream :j0 -
And wow to getting the tax return in already, thats very good! Using the SC regularly is also very good
Enjoy your time away from the 'puter.
