    Thanks both!

    Earthie, the energy rapidly runs out - still don't sleep well, so (at the moment) generally end up having a nap in the afternoon. I'm at my most productive first thing in the morning, and it's downhill until dinner time, when I'll come to life again!

    Just done a whole load of tiny surveys on SBs about my business and earned 164 today. So much for it being a slow day!

    Morning all,

    I'm all caught up on all my work! :D It's been great being busy, but it's nice to get to the end sometimes!

    Am going to head to see Mum and pop into town for our free M&S cuppa shortly. Will have a mooch around the charity shops too.... ideas for Christmas presents (sorry!) beginning to take shape, so have an idea of things I need to look for.

    Toy Story was very good last night - not sure it was really a children's film. Bit heart-wrenching at the end though (and I was doing so well not crying until that point!)

    MS things:
    * Pasta for tea tonight (from the batch made last week)/Storecupboard soup and dessert for tea last night
    * 1P @ £34.30 :T
    * 2 PA surveys done
    * Clicks etc. done.
    * RM survey item posted yesterday - eventually!
    * Rest of redcurrants in freezer
    * Runner beans are coming along super quickly.... just not sure where I'm going to be able to store them. Need another small freezer really for this much produce, but no space for one!
    * Have organised my inboxes and feel I will be much more efficient! :rotfl:

    Gratitudes:
    * Good film last night
    * Lovely veg box delivered yesterday (rainbow carrots!)
    * Rain - it's cooler today, thank goodness - hopefully I'll be able to be more awake this afternoon!

    Happy Thursday all!

    Morning all,

    Thanks Karma, we had a lovely afternoon. Used the M&S complaint voucher (local cafe service was exceptional and in another world compared to last week's experience!) and some of an M&S voucher I'd been given as a thank you to have lunch and we had a good mooch around the charity shops too. Mum bought some books for niece (some for now, some for presents, all virtually new) and I got a (brand new) copy of a Riverford recipe book for £2! :T After the free parking had run out, we went back to hers and walked to a nearby parade of shops and library - got another book about the USA and a beginner's crochet book (Mum considers it a bit far to walk usually - it's only about 1 mile - but if I lived that close to a library I'd be down there every day!). Spent £1 on charity raffle that was being drawn yesterday afternoon - sadly haven't had a call to say I've won a prize!

    While we were out Mum spotted (at my prompting) a couple of job ads - submitted them on the J0bsp0tter app (as I now can have this) and have been credited with £2.05 which I can claim as Am vouchers - already! Super impressed with this, so planning on a lot more spotting!

    DH is off to a local festival tonight with a friend from work. We're going for lunch in the 'spoons first (will be job spotting in town centre). It's the last Brownie meeting tonight :( so I couldn't go to the festival (we still have pack holiday next week). I plan on a quiet evening - if I need tea it'll be the last of the spinach and ricotta pasta, and I might have a go at the crochet! (Reality is I'll be knackered - extra long and emotional Brownies going for a walk in the woods - and collapse in front of something mindless on TV!)

    MS things:
    * Jobspotting :D
    * 1P @ £34.30
    * PA survey (now @ £11.36)
    * Clicks (still to do) - late start today as terrible lack of sleep last night
    * Bargain book yesterday with lots of yummy seasonal veg ideas
    * Downloaded Boots app and have claimed 200 advantage points for having app

    Gratitudes:
    * Great afternoon with Mum and didn't feel guilty that I wasn't working as I didn't have any to do!
    * Prospect of big project coming up for American client (the stuff that means I'm an expert on California - so more holiday research for me! :rotfl:
    * Beans! So many beans growing!!

    Happy Friday everyone, and have a great weekend too!

    's too hot!... Am melting....!

    Haven't had much work for the last two days so have kept away from the computer largely. Doing well with J0bspotter app - at £7 now.

    Otherwise all clicks etc. ok. Am busy finishing plans for Brownie holiday. Had wonderful last night with them on Friday and some lovely gifts. Lots happening in garden too - can only inspect first thing and last thing in these temperatures though!

    Morning all,

    Still melting here.... It's Costco day today though, so am waiting for Mum to arrive and we're off for a look-see. Need chicken for the cats, so that's no. 1 priority.

    DD has been taken to pay tax bill - but of course it won't show with HMRC for 4-7 days.... so that's £1k of my money that has just disappeared for the time being. Why can banks and BS manage it but not the government? :mad:

    Will use £7 Am credit from job spotting to pay for an additional cable for my phone as at the moment I'm carrying it everywhere with me!

    MS things:
    * Clicks etc.
    * Using food up, even if cooking hm pizza is *ridiculous* in this weather (oven at 220C)
    * Harvested the garlic - very pleased with the results!

    Gratitudes:
    * It'll be warm enough today to dry the inside of my car out - may have left the roof open last night! :A
    * Very friendly ginger cat - sat next to me and tail in under my fingers/in front of the screen
    * Cinema tonight - Yesterday

    In light of 2nd gratitude, I#ll leave it there!

    You've got some Awwww moments there, especially with the cat! I had quite a few conversations with two cats in my garden yesterday - they were climbing up the hazel tree to look at the birds in the tall rhodedendron next to it. Slightly unnerving to be growled at by a cat thats two feet above you ... I had my empty watering jug with me, so I pretended to throw some water over it, I confess, and it scrambled away very inelegantly. Still growling :p and it still wanted to sit with me later on :)

    Morning all,

    Can't believe it's been a week since I last updated. I think Brownie holiday and the heat caught up with me. The heat was horrendous! Costco was insanely busy on opening day but the tasters were large, plentiful and did Mum and I for lunch :D

    Brownie holiday was good, but a bit sad as it was the last. I'm now in the process of finalising the accounts and sorting out all the Brownie stuff in my house ready to hand over to the new leader (my stuff is nowhere near as bad as Brown Owl's - she has a garage-full!). Brought back quite a few bits of food from holiday :) and a nasty insect bite :( Went to the urgent care centre last night and am now on antibiotics for it.

    Went out with Mum yesterday and spotted another £4 of jobs :) Have also claimed another £15 Apple voucher from SBs.

    Today I am exceptionally tired - whether it's the antibiotics or the body fighting off the bite, I don't know (pretty sure I'm caught up on sleep after Brownie holiday), so am staying inside and getting work done (some stuff I have to use my brain for, after weeks of easy American client stuff!), doing my accounts/invoicing and maybe the Brownie accounts. DH is away with work tonight (so fed and watered for free :) ) so I'll have some pasta from the freezer and an early(ish) night.

    MS things:
    * Job spotting :D
    * Cat sitting booking for week after next - a whole week and within walking distance :T
    * Leftovers from Brownie holiday :)
    * Clicks and comps done
    * RM survey stamps arrived :)
    * £2.54 TCB payout

    Gratitudes:
    * Some really lovely messages from longstanding Brownie parents - their gratitude is really appreciated
    * Antibiotics are working
    * The wait at the urgent care centre wasn't too long and the staff were great
    * An interesting and fairly productive day yesterday, even if the UCC wasn't on the to-do list!

    Have a good day all!
