The cancer fundraising nights I go to at the local Indian restaurant charge £1 a ticket or £5 a strip I think - 6 tickets per strip iirc. It a variety of bottles of booze and tat :rotfl:

My best prize was the coasters featuring American motorways in the 1970's :D

I have not done any fund raising for a while but would say £1 a ticket for a tombola (that is how much I would pay, but I am tight !)

If you give prizes for numbers ending 5 and 0 you should get £5 for every prize or you could just give prizes for numbers ending 0 you get £10 back for every prize.

That settles it then. I wasn't sure, if it was all booze, whether we could get away with more, but £1 is fine and should bring in a good sum. Just need to make sure we have plenty of prizes!

I'm not slacking from work btw, it's about lunchtime and progress is good (problem is, the work is tourism related and making me want a holiday!)

Quick question: (Busy Mee, this may be one for you again, queen of the switching!) I've had my Hali account open for a month now and done the requisite transfers in (and *ahem* out), 2 DDs set up etc. but I've not had my £3 yet. Do I not get it the first month (on the basis that I've had £125 out of them)?.

30p 1P survey done, back to work now

According to the T &Cs you get the £3 a month, where in the previous month you paid in £750 and had 2 direct debit....you will get it next month I think
