WHat are your experiences with Phones4U? Want to get daughter Samsung Galaxy S2. Best Orange can do £31 (based on how she uses phone). Phones4U £26! However, if things go pear shaped, what is the after sales service like? Phone Orange, been with them for 10+ years. No additional discounts. All advice appreciated.

I wouldn't worry if it is not a redemption deal.
And you can always deal with Samsung directly instead.0 -
P4U is one of those companies where its kind of like a 50/50 mixed bag.
Works for some. Doesnt for some.
Its not like Primus which is total crap bags yet only deal with homephones and cant even get that right.0 -
theyve been fine with me once the phonew is active anyway you go through orange as per usual
they have a forum and live chat if you need any after sale serviceWhat goes around-comes around0 -
Don't forget to cancel the 'free' insurance that they will sell you.
And don't miss on £50.50 TCB cashback.0 -
i said no to the insurance but will check to see if they added it on anywayWhat goes around-comes around0

Hi Kerry,
It's not really on topic with what you're asking, but P4U have the Samsung Galaxy S2 with o2 for £21.50 a month with virtually the same package as if you were to choose it with orange - 200 mins unltd texts and 500mb of data, so bare this in mind as you could save yourself £4.50 a month and if you decide to use a cashback site then the contract would effectively be under £20 a month

Thanks poshparrot. Had noted O2 deal but would like to stay with Orange - only because of Magic Numbers. Daughter at uni, phones mum regularly (1000 mins/month) but as both are on Orange calls are effectively free. O2 have bolt on (£7.65 ish/ month) that would do the same thing. Obviously costs more! Decisions, decisions0
