Barrister replies to PPC

Fun, but the guy needs to live in the real world like we do.
He will get back a template letter from the scammers saying,
"we have taken careful note of your appeal but would confirm that the charge has been correctly applied."
Nice try, Tim.
Next time just ignore the d*ckheads like the rest of us.0 -
Maybe so, but it's a great piece of evidence on the extremely unlikely event that it goes to court!
I don't think the judge would look too kindly on a PPC who ignores the Data Protection Act for example. One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0 -
It will either be:
"Thank you for your appeal, we have carefully considered it and have decided to reject it, the payment outstanding is increased to £100"
or
"Thank you for your appeal, we have carefully considered it and have decided to reject it as the parking ticket was correctly issued, however as a gesture of goodwill we have decided to extend the reduced payment period for another week"0 -
I think that Gary Wayne (beautiful British name!) won't like to think that his 'little' moneyspinner that keeps him in sports cars is getting widespread bad publicity from a barrister with some high-flying contacts. So I think the barrister will either hear nothing more or will get the PCN 'cancelled'.
Love the letter. So hard to decide whether to use a legal version like that or a jokey 'take the mickey' style rebuttal if ever I do get another fake PCN. The opportunity is there for a bit of fun with the idiots either way.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I love it. On those very rare occasions a PPC will try court, if you can show that you've done what you can to resolve it, that all goes in your favour. A PPC wouldn't comply with all those legal requests and will simply ignore you.One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0
