    Yes, I didn't use the card for a few days as I only use it for petrol purchases and I was off work with a minor illness so didn't need to use it until early March, by which time the card had expired, unknown to me. :o

    I have both a current account and a cashminder account. The CRA status after a few months (I think about 3) of not using the Cashminder becomes a Z or a U, which I believe is "not classified". It could be that when accounts are considered dormant they don't re-issue cards automatically in case you have moved, or something similar, and hence are not expecting the card and it could thus be intercepted.
