Hi there

I'm wondering if any of the gurus on here might have a view on my particular situation?

I hope so as I could do without a £60, rising to £90 'fine'!

Thanks in advance guys

Just ignore as they only money they can claim off you is the actual material loss that they suffered. In your case its a couple of pounds at the most.
What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?

you have recieved a fake, worthless, useless, piece of paper,,its not a ticket,,quick lesson,,,,PENALTY charge notice(given only by police/traffic warden is legit,,,,,,must pay,,,,,,,,what you have is a PARKING charge notice=not legit, fake, scam, etc etc, nothing can /will be done to you as a result of this,,dont worry when you recieve threat o grams from roxburghe( zero powers) debt collectors, and the phoney solicitor,,graham white,,,all part of the same scam,,,so ignore and do not contact verbally or non verbally,,end of, full stop,,finito,.read the stickies about excell parking or google,,excell parking scam,,then you will have a good laugh.
  • Thanks for the replies folks

I have done quite a lot of reading on the forum so understand the position, parking charge vs penatly, invoice not a fine etc.

My concern was that in my case I hadn't purchased a ticket at all and so thought I was more exposed than if I had bought a ticket which then expired.

    Ignorance is bliss!

we never advocate,, not buying a ticket,,only not paying the loo paper invoice that you have recieved,i will stick with my mission of defeating excell parking in two places,,,peel centre stockport and chorlton precinct,,please spread the word about these scumsters of the first degree.
  • I agree, and I didn't intentially avoid buying a ticket. I simply assumed that at 9pm the (empty) car park would be free.

Just to be on the safe side it might be as well to remove all the details (place, date, time) from your original post. We are very careful here.
  • Hi again

    Just a thought.

What is the posotion re CCJ's?

I could do without the hassle and a potential CCJ for £60.

    Thoughts?
  • The chance of getting a CCJ is as likely as Megan Fox proposing to me. In order for that to happen they would have to take you to court, win and then you don't pay up within the month. You could even say it would be in your hands.

It's not going to happen. CCJ's do not get handed out like sweets

To get a CCJ against you the PPC would first need to take you to court (unlikely), then win (unbelievably unlikely), and then you still refuse to pay up within 28 days. It really won't happen.

Thoughts - stop worrying about an annoying but pointless scam. :D

We wouldn't be dishing out this advice, day in day out, if there was any real risk of a CCJ. You cannot just 'apply for' a CCJ when you allege someone owes you money.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
