BP Things are very complicated, there are so many huge problems going on aswell. I want to see a light at the end of the tunnel.

Things are complicated but they are actually simple as well. Perhaps some cognitive behavioural therapy would help you (I have a psychology background)

    done the survey .
PM i had a bad bout of depression last summer i was off work for 6 months ,felt like the longest 6 months of my life .i did have CBT but at the time didnt think it helped but i read alot on the internet etc about self help ,tried umptem dif medication but eventually i turned acorner & returned to work on a phased return .i'm still on medication & cant see my self coming off it for the time being . ive had to learn to say no occasssionally & leave things for others to do at home & think more positively .i've always been a realistic type of person but maybe this made me be more pesamistic (sp).things go wrong for us all at times but we need to think of tomorrow ,i try to appriciate what i have got my family (who felt so helpless when i was ill but gave me cuddles & support when i needed them ).give yourself little treats ,have a massage to relax you at this stressful time ,soak in a lovely bubblebath etc & things will hopefully look alittle better in the morning . sorry for the waffle got to go catch you all later

    Morning everyone,

PM, perhaps a change in medication or therapy might be in order? Have yo been on the same medication for a long period of time? Also what about counselling? Perhaps you have already tried that too.

You have a whole new life to look forward too PM, if you could somehow tell yourself that the day of your marriage will be the first day of your new life perhaps that would give you a different mindset.

Jeferey - I hope your DIAL gets her results asap. The waiting can be torture mentally.

Blue - sorry to hear of the break in - like you I would have said that as long no one got hurt then it doesn't matter. Hugs to you for youe dad - I miss daddy every day. It has been 10 months and it is still as raw.

Bully - try and get up that scaffolding tonight and get an excellent view of the International Space Station (ISS) - it is only visible till the 24th of this month.

My DD3's mouth is coming along nicely. Her gum & teeth are still "loose" but the wound is not as raw now. Eating & drinking still a problem but se is managing. Dentist next week. Then school I am dreading her going to school - all it will take is 1 knock and she will be back to square one :(

Right off now to do some cleaning.....

So sorry to hear that you have been through depression aswell, such a horrid illness isn't it. You sound like you've really turned a corner though which is great to hear :)
