Basically I had to cut my hen do short to deal with the probs with the wedding venue. I knew something was very wrong when we got in there today. The guy we were supposed to seeing didn't meat us, i asked where he was and was toild he was coming. We finally met him so I asked where the manager was and was told he left.
Cut a long story short he did nothing beyond take my money:mad::mad::mad: it turned out he hadn't even booked for our wedding to take place in 13 days time, they thought we were getting married somewhere else. Iv'e ben trying to sort things out for ages with them and finally got to met them today, he said they have been trying to force the manger out for months and finally managed to a week ago.I couldnt hold back the tears as i knew then they we were in deep s*it and we had to start again with 13 days to go.
I feel so angry and cheated:mad::mad::mad: hes not the person i thought and did nothing, they knew months ago that the manager did nothing. The wedding before us is touch and go.If they hadn't have got rid of the manager we wouldn't have had a wedding at all and now i have so much to do.
Due to the manager not doing anything we've lost 4 hrs of setting up time time as the rooms have been booked out that we need to set up in so we have to set up in the lobby.
Sorry for the rant.
xx
I think you are entitled to rant PM!! That is just terrible. But have you got a venue?
Hugs to you x

Why not light a candle and think of the good times you had with her for a while?
Then write a to do list for tomorrow then you get cracking first thing in the morning
I found this site thanks to 3dogs and the elite http://www.gratefulness.org/candles/enter.cfm?l=eng and find that it is very helpful to light a candle now and again in memory of my Dad and sit and just think about things. Maybe worth you doing PM and thinking about how the past is gone and how the future is going to be great with you and your new hubby against anyone/anything that might want to get you down.
I think sometimes you have to have challenges and things that get you down/upset to appreciate the good things you have. I have lost my wonderful dad and had carp happen in my life, but now I have a fantastic OH and whatever happens there is two of us to make any problem sooooo small because it is shared, so I am grateful.
Talking of carp, we went out to the pub tonight for 2 hours and when we got back my OH's shed had been broken into and a few cases of stella and few bits of other stuff were nicked. Nothing of too high a value was in there thank goodness. A car further up the road had a window smashed, but they had nothing of value in there and a neighbour scared the thieving b***ards away. I said to my OH, at least we haven't got a new car window to pay for and it is only a few beers, it could have been worse if expensive tools etc were not in the house. My glass is half full and I TRY and think on the positive side as I hope others will do as thinking negative does no good.
Time for bed I suppose seeing as like AH I am chatting to myself. I have lit 2 candles tonight, one for all the loved ones who have left us too early and one for CW's hubby, wishing that he gets well soon and is back at home letting her run around for him there.:DBe thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)
