Been to Asda today and got trouted using an apg.

I did a targetted shop last week and spent £21+ and got a £10+ apg back.

Tried to use the apg today when I spent £17+

Handed over the receipt and the voucher and the male SA said you cannot get a £10+ apg from a £21 shop, there's something wrong.

I told him there is nothing wrong with it but he called a supervisor. The supervisor looked and said something is wrong with it and got another supervisor who also muttered under her breath about it. I told them I am in a rush as got someone waiting in the car to take me home.

After around 10 minutes one of the supervisors decided she needed to deal with it at customer services so does something to the till and we traipse to customer services.

The man on customer services asked what was wrong and the supervisor rambled on about having a £10 apg from a £21 shop and said "so what" to her. She repeated again and again that its £10 apg for a £21 shop. In the end the customer services man got fed up with her and told her to leave it to him.

As soon as she had gone he put the apg through and I just paid the difference.

Talk about making mountain out of a molehill.

Now got to avoid that store for a while methinks.

All they had to do was to put the details into the APG like they would do if you was a customer asking them to check the receipt and they would know it was legit. As I said previously, the more high value (although £10 ain't high value;)) APG's they get the more they are going to look into them. I hope your son did some decent wombling while he was waiting:D
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

He found 4 receipts, 2 worthless, one for .42p and the other to do later:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:so another rubbish womble.

Honestly you would have thought it was a fake apg the way they were acting. Only the customer service man had any sense.

Ewww, CW, you'v reminded me of days of old and a resurrected memory of kissing first husband - now you've almost taken the pleasure from reading MT post that there are new ssm coupons. Have to admit when I scan read that I almost wet myself. About time. How long have we waited for new coupons?

MT about the mozzies, maybe its just down here in our corner of the world where they are ever present, they are driving us mad too. I bought some citronella wrist/ankle bands from poundshop (2 pairs for £1), they are not bad, but I dont think they will last the time promised on the packet. I have also heard good thngs about avon so soft oil, have ordered some and waiting for it to arrive. Im willing to try anything as me and DD3 are very tasty to them. I can hear them whizz past OH in the night and hone in on me. I also bought one of those battery operated swatters from poundland. Amazing satisfaction. I am quite happy to sit up in bed, swat in hand, waiting for the little bombers.

I suggest the same treatment for Tesco on behalf of Doc. I hate Tesco! Ive been trouted, in varying degrees, over the years, and rarely go in there now unless there is an amazing offer/coupon combo impossible to resist. My last run in was just when dtd was in full swing, and I was aboard the band wagon. I thought I was going to spontaneously combust on one occasion! Ive been trouted in Asda too, similar to CW story, accused of "creating a fake voucher", which till supervisor took great pleasure in announcing to other members of staff as we traipsed to c.s where a manager was called. That was a targetted shop admittedly, but it was perfectly genuine, was Christmas with all the Thorntons chocs/gift sets comparisons. That was Asda, Fr*me, (there, named and shamed, you bunch of Trouts!)

These supermarkets really need to start treating their customers with more respect. Im sorry Doc and CW that you've had horrid experiences.

Ive had a friend request from FV on fb, which Ive accepted but no interaction. I do hope she is ok.

A second £5 l2s voucher received yesterday from mc. Why they cant sent them all in one go is beyond me, recorded delivery on each fiver. Will cost em a fortune. Idiots!

Love and hugs to all today and always x
Love, through the trees, past the sky, beyond the northern lights; and I won't let go. May your soul and spirt fly sweetheart x

My alphabet-girls are with me every step of the way x

    hi MAGs

we have loads here too , others not fairing to bad but my arms are so itchy, red & swollen round bite too:(

will look in £1 shop for those bands.

glad FV sent you a FB request, i sent here your name as a suggestion on FB when it 1st became clear you had such hard to deal with things in common.

had my first real problem with a PDF coupon in my asda yesterday:eek: they have never been a problem before but lately SAs are checking ( muddle memos from managers i believe , confusing them), of course i tell them go ahead as no bother to me as i know the are ok to use.
this time though they were ready to refuse them as barcodes were the same( well they would be they are pdfs). but agreed i could this once but they would be checking the policy.
    fine by me.
last time there was a small issue it turned out someone was overly using the glayva coupons when it was poss. to get it really cheap. so perhaps something is afoot again, really do hope not though

thankfully they know me quite well up there for using coupons, so i think they realise i wouldn't use dodgy coupons.

    how are you today ??
