I have decided to get the toilet rolls for the petrol coupons and then flog them at a loss at the car boot seeing as I have loadsa, but it would be less of a loss if I had a cond spend. I never get the cond spends

Oh Doc I love the olympics hate all this build up blah blah blah but can't wait until the opening ceremony love mainly athletics swimming & gymnastics. Really hope Tom Daley wins a Gold for his Dad so sad he won't be there to see it if he does when he was such a support to him I think I will shed a tear for him either way. I remember many past fantastic sports people as a young child loved watching Olga Corbit(SP) think she was probably my first memories remember Alan Wells geting the Gold for Scotland Torvil and Dean is perfect 6's many many more I do believe it inspires some youngsters I remember wanting to be just like Olga Corbit :rotfl:unfortunately only lived in a very small villiage in Scotland and defo no facilities and parents didn't drive.
What I don't understand is how can some events already have started the opening ceremony is supposed to be the start don't think it is right events take place before as it is suppossed to be a welcoming ceremony for all the countries to enter the stadium. If this is the case the ceremony should take place earlier thats my gripe DS said think archery takes place today won't even be televised how must that make them feel.
DS said shame I am going to miss the opening ceremony as he finishes at 9pm tonight told him he better look out his walking shoes:D:rotfl:0 -
Blue think I need to look into this petrol deal, never really got my head around whether it good or not as normally the items are on the more expensive side but havent really focused on it0

Dear FV, well, you are right, this thread does have a way of bringing out the sadness that lies behind our shared love of getting the better of supermarkets and I am so relieved that you felt you could trust us with your sorrow.
This is another moment that for someone as wordy as myself I find little to say, I only feel and my heart throws itself out to you. Earlier this year my little Mill had a trampolene accident which necessitated a few days stay in hospital and after losing Chloe I was thrown back into devastation. Thankfully she has made a good recovery but I so know what you are going through. Needless to say if there is anything I can do to hold your hand then just let me know and I am a whisper away; and I mean that from the bottom of my heart.
Stay strong hun xmagsxLove, through the trees, past the sky, beyond the northern lights; and I won't let go. May your soul and spirt fly sweetheart x

If I manage to get any S's mags will include Bavaria coupons with it but I doubt about the mags as its nearly end of the month and the Bavaria deal has been so popular lol...:o0 -
Morning all, still trying to catch up.
CW - hope your OH is OK. As someone else said, he was probably so embarrassed.
FV - hope the antibiotics start to kick in soon for your DD. Sending lots of hugs your way.0 -
So many comments jostling in my mind, people to thank - Blue esp for the porkie knowledge above :-).
Did anyone else get the bonne maman pdf in an email? Let me know if you want one.
I also had the clover one but it seems unique and at the moment cant work out how to print it. Im getting old, lol!
The tesco petrol - well I bought a set of 8 on ebay for £8.75. Seemed the best option for me as I hate Tesco although I may partake of the porky glitch if I can summon up any energy to get off my a*se!
CW, hope your OH is ok.
Truth is, FV is on my mind right now...Love, through the trees, past the sky, beyond the northern lights; and I won't let go. May your soul and spirt fly sweetheart x

I have spent hours:eek:looking around mse and reading various threads about the deal. I don't drink robinsons juice or coffee so buying those would be a waste and I wouldn't end up saving on petrol, but I figure I could get 10 lots of the andrex and sell them at the car boot at a small loss. I buy the quilted stuff but stocked up when I had a few jtd vouchers to use up. My car is nearly on empty and 50p a litre off would be a big saving I reckon as I think it holds about 50 litres PLUS I am going to take the 3 petrol cans I have and fill them as well;)
You need to hurry and decide though AH as the offer ends on Sunday, but the Petrol coupons have 2 weeks on them I think.
Best Price THANK YOU:beer::beer::A:A:ABe thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)
