EVEning everyone,

I stilll have not caught up so please forgive me

DD3's mouth is horribly infected - well the wound is - she is very sore (as is her nose now too) so Dr has extended antibiotics, have to stick with paracetamol & ibuprofen (would not give me anything stronger or increase in dosage)

Have been trying all sorts of foods, smoothies etc she is still hungry bless her.

I still feel sick to the pit of my stomach when I look at her and think what she has to go through (I pray every night that she will not, the worst that will happen will be a brace hey they are trendy now :cool: ) I cannot sleep and have a permanent headache

I can't help but think that my post's are maybe coming across a bit "dramatic" if they are then apologies but 14 months ago today I lost my beautiful & beloved DD1 to a very brief illness, since then I panic, worry every time my children are away from me - yes even at school - because I just know something else will happen and low and behold look what has happened. I don't think my heart can take much more to be honest.

Anyway, I did not come on here to post any of the ^^^^^ it has just found it's way out I guess.........

you have every right to sound as dramatic as you like ( it doesn't sound that way) and none of us will mind one bit, especially if it helps in some small way
so sorry to hear things aren't going well with DD and i should think even under normal circumstances you'd be worried sick anyway
but can understand why more so after losing DD1, your feelings must be so raw at the moment
it must have you so on edge, wish there was something we could do to help.

FV that sounds terrible what you are going through and even more terrible considering you have lost DD1. You are not being dramatic whatsoever.

You sound like a fabulous mum. My heart goes out to you and your little one. She sounds like she has been really brave throughout this awful ordeal. It is one of those things where you would gladly take the pain of what she is going through.

The infection doesn't sound good:(. I hope extending the antibiotics will bring it to an end.

Please post when you can and let us know if there is anything we can do.

Let me know if I can get any coupons or anything else for you.

I thought I was battling through the days (& nights) but DD getting hurt has just rocked me and I don't know if I am coming or going. I am so thankful it is the summer holidays I know that I could not let any of my children out through the door!

Please don't feel bad in posting. I (and probably everyone else) would feel bad if you were feeling like that inside and didn't mention it.

You are not bringing the thread down at all. It is not just about coupons or the good times. It is about being here no matter what, good times, bad times, everything. Sometimes it helps to get your feelings out. There is always someone on here who has words of comfort. We all have bad times sooner or later.

Hope you enjoy the summer holidays and make the most of them with the children. Weather is lovely and sunny as well.

We will be checking on you - I know you have a lot on but a quick post now and again would be appreciated just so we know you are alright.

I think I saw that there is 4 in a pack, but it must say Norfolk on them.

I am so sorry to read things are not any better FV. I cannot say it any better than BP has and agree with it all including anything you need then just shout, including a lift to do your shopping or anywhere.

You won't/don't bring the thread down, we are here for good and bad times and have all been wondering how things are with you both. Please post whenever you can and whatever you wanna say.

My DS3 came in yesterday afternoon showed me a deeply grazed elbow he had come off his bike :eek: Now me a bit of a woose with blood and it makes me feel sick & this made me think what you must be feeling FV.
