oh AH! I wish I had some answers for you on how to get the LA to agree to the funding, but I don't think there are any but to keep fighting!

Have you tried posting on the education boards on MSE? someone might have some ideas?Or have you tried googling for forums with similiar?

Thanks Aesop I think I would make alot of money if I had the answers also, so many people out there not getting support they need in the education system as bad as our situation is there are many worse off. We have been battling 10years now and it is never over as we have learn't one step forward 2 back:( and you have no choice but to battle sometimes it just gets you down and unable to face wading through realms of paperwork:(:(:( but the way I see it if we don't fight for his education no one else will.

I have been put in contact with a parent fighting another LA her son is 11 she has been fighting for years for correct support and worse on her own as DH couldn't cope anymore and left. They have just had a emergency professionals mtg as her social worker wanted his situation sorted before leaving to move to another post it was agreed he needed a 52week placement which CAMH & Social Care are going to pay the costs, still the education system say they can meet his needs locally and won't pay:eek::eek::eek: unbelievable this child has a carer from 4 until 9 when he goes to bed and at weekends. It just makes me want to weep sometimes so I realise how lucky I am sometimes but it's hard just wished I could do more to help her than a shoulder to cry on.

Thanks for tip I never even thought of an education board on here as wouldn't think money saving, see I am sleepwalking through life:rotfl: what would I do without you Aesop:A thanks to you you probs saved my NY hols also with your clever link after one of my posts.:T

It wouldn't let me even check one that was dated 12/06

Yes you HAVE to CHECK them within 28 days

12/06 - last day to check would be 09/07

Actually it's only 27 days "later" - Day 1 of the 28 is the day of issue ...

... something I have pointed out to Asda HQ APG CS team ...

which at the time was "wrong" and didn't match their T&Cs given that the current 3 hour rule didn't exist and the first possible point you could check a receipt was AFTER 6am THE FOLLOWING DAY

AH, she probably has already done this, but has she tried getting her local MP involved? Mine has a special needs child, so takes a special interest in cases like this.

I will check with her she has a solicitor on board putting her case forward to tribunal. My DH contacted our MP and he had a meeting with him he did contact the LA on our behalf but whether it helped or not who knows but it's a case of keep knocking on what ever doors you can. My biggest word of wisdom to anyone going through similar or at the start with a young child they suspect has special needs is to write everything down in a diary names places etc everytime you get a call from the school record it.

Just trying to make up a shopping list for S's to try and get a BM but need to spend £25 on toiletries healthcare and pharmacy as got 2 coupons one for 1000 np with £25 spend and 9p off per litre of fuel with £25 spend:j and tank empty:D;) problem is got to rely on DH picking right items as I got to go through the paperwork:rotfl:.

    think got it to

4 x carex handwash original 250ml £4 £3in T's (not sure if classed as toiletries though)
    4 x Aquafresh mint 500ml £12 BIGIF at T's £5.70
    6 x Radox shower gel for men 250ml 3 for £3 = £6 £6 in t's
    4 x Sainsburys hayfever + allergy relief 14's £4
    1 x 4 head headache stick 3.6g £4.50 £4.50 in t's
    1 x nurofen express caplets 16's £3.60 £3 in T's

should give me a BM of £9.90 spend of £32.10 - SD:j If everything in stock may get him to leave the 4 head stick off although if spend £30 have another 120pts coupon:D;)

OOPs put singles figures so edited as misleading not as practised as Doc:D ;)

And forgot 15% staff discount for this week only
