I'll ask him for you but I think FG has answered you really. One thing, when you switch the laptop off do you go to start and press the upside down Q or press the arrow to the right of it and press shut down? I always used to think the upside down Q was the switch off on my Acer, but I also had a light flashing all the time and then looked into it and it isn't the shut off it "keeps your computer in a low power state so you can quickly resume working", so it is still using the battery. Loadsa places on ebay sell batteries fairly cheap (well cheaper than a new laptop even at Uncle Phil's;)).
:rotfl::rotfl:Where did you get your Acer lappy? Is it make in India?
When I want to switch it off I go to :-
1) Start
2) Click turn off computer
3) bobs your uncle.
My lappy does not have "Q":rotfl:. Yes I know, if the 24 hours does not work me shall go & get the battery from ebayfungaltendancy wrote: »One extra thought doc does the new power supply may not have enough voltage to charge the battery,I have had that with few devices if i use a supply I have lying around, can power them but not charge.Might be worth double checking that it is exactly he same, look at what it says the volts and milliamp(ma) are.But chances are its the battery, especially if the old charger works to power it but doesn't charge it.
Yes FT, I bought from ebay like for like same voltage.RIP my dear dear parent : Mum aged 62 (17/5/1990) & Dad aged 89 (23/1/2012)0 -

I am more interested in getting JTD than having that carp:D to be honest with you. If I get too many will have to sell it to somebody:rotfl: or DD1 can take it with her.RIP my dear dear parent : Mum aged 62 (17/5/1990) & Dad aged 89 (23/1/2012)0 -

We are whispering about what a deserved winner of the mum of the year your pal is:p:p:p
Oh and what stuff to buy in Tesco, which is no good for you cos you gotta spend your spare time visiting yer uncle in the other shop. We are more than halfway through the month and you haven't been helping yer uncle very much, 2960 is carp:p
A "Damn good JTD" that "are very limited on the shelve" ?
Just interested to know what's worth risking paying £X.XX in Tesco for an item that's £Y.YY in ASDA - (CHEAPER by £Z.ZZ) just hoping to get a £Z.ZZ JTD back - an amount that you WOULDN'T have spent if you'd bought it in ASDA in the first place
Unless you've got a Tesco only MOC/Conditional spend or ASDA is just too far away, then why wouldn't you just buy it in ASDA ?
As for my Aunt Sofia :rotfl: (get it ?) an update is required which I will do in a little while.
Also remember this is REDEEMED - NOT "OBTAINED" :rotfl:
My current stock has significantly grown recently
I'll have a quick count and let you know soon
