Morning all, rubbish weather here in Cornwall again ,feel so sorry for people on holiday as families come mainly for the beach & although when my kids were young we'd still go on the beach its different in the summer when children want to play on the sand & parents want to relax in the sun.
SND i know you need to keep busy & do things for your mum but try not to overdo it,you still need to have a bit of time for yourself .Lemon drizzle cake yum ,i catered for a funeral at the beginning of the week & the family ask for cake & i made lemon drizzle as well as Victoria sandwiches ,& boiled fruit cakes .Glad to hear Sher is doing fine ,when i first used coupons she was a major poster & helped people alot .right off for a quick catch up before i head out to work ,4 days on then off for 10days :)hope the weather perks up some of the time

Hi everyone!!! I sure have missed you all! I'm doing alright. I have a job I like, just wish it wasn't 2nd shift. I like the people I work with though so it makes 2nd shift bearable (don't really have time for a life being on 2nd shift). Sorry to brag, but there are so many coupons over here that I don't print as many as I did in England. Oh and it's great to shop without dealing with trouts! The stores over here really encourage you to use coupons on sale items plus if they let you "stack" coupons (using a store coupon and a manufacturer's coupon) so you get stuff really cheap or free. I am happy to be back home and close to my family. Will be spending today at one of my sister's for a family bbq, should be a hoot! Nice to be back with my childhood friends too, we all kept in touch over the years. Also became a member of my church but must confess I haven't been going regularly the past month or so as I'm still fighting a bit of depression from missing my darling Hubs. I have a nice house with the State forrest across the road and behind my back yard plus I have nice neighbours. I hear the coyotes more than I hear the neighbours. My house and property have loads of potential and I have lots of plans for both, just have to save the money to do what I want, such is life... Well it's after 3am so I best get some shut eye so I don't fall asleep at the family 4th of July bbq. It's been great chatting with you, I've really missed you all! Thanks for asking about me and thanks Blue for this link so I could catch up with everyone!!

Its lovely to hear from you sher, I have often thought of you and hoped you were well and happy.:j

Your house sounds fabulous, would love the wildlife you must get near your home, and so peaceful too.

Wish we had more coupons over here but they are thin on the ground at the moment.

    Take care of yourself hun

    Morning Everyone!:)

Got a bit of catching up to do:

Doc - many thanks for No7 voucher

Aesop - thank you for for putting so much effort in re my phone. Considering that plus someone MIGHT be letting me have their old phone so just waiting to find out

Sher - howdy! - lovely to hear from you again

CW - many thanks for posting about the Don Simon - just one lone bottle in my store yesterday hidden behind the smooth ones. Got APG fine this morning.

AH - Yes we didn't bother too much with our garden this year 'cos of the hosepipe ban plus its been so difficult to get out to do anything with all this rain. DH finally got the grass cut the other day - it had got sooooo long!

Raining here again this morning. Still I shall sort out some more clothes from the loft to take to Cash 4 Clothes - got over £8 yesterday and freeing up a lot of loft space!

OK, lemon drizzle cake made through lots of tears. It was my dad's favourite cake and also my late father-in-laws, so always think of FIL when I make it anyway, now will always think of dad too.

Just had a knock on the door, still not showered or hair done, but reluctantly opened the door. It was a delivery of a beautiful bouquet of flowers from a very special friend who really could not afford such a gesture. Some people are just so kind. :A:A

They are therapeutic tears and a very special cake made with love. We should never be afraid of letting the tears fall its a very important part of the grieving. :A:A:A
