She did bring a couple of bottles back;)You can't live a perfect day without doing something for someone who will never be able to repay you. ~John Wooden 154/06/2700 -

The offer was always meant to run on 03/07 in Tesco according to MySM. Haven't phoned them as it's swings & roundabouts with some bonus wins to negate the failures.
I did post on the Tesco Elite thread but I don't think anyone over there was bothered so I'm glad someone linked me to this thread. I'll keep this in mind for future double discount offers as this could work very well.
The Fruit Shoots were also going through at the pre-discount price of £2.99 each instead of 2 for £5. Tesco was charging £2 so again, if my envelope sums are correct (and I shall await you saying they're not) -
For every 2 Fruit shoots you pay £5 in Asda
For every 2 Fruit Shoots you would have paid £4 in Tesco
Apg should have been £1 plus the 10% which is 40p so £1.40 so a £3.60 net spend
APG system used 2 x £2.99 so £5.98 - £4 + 40p = £2.38
Asda spend was £5 minus APG = £2.62
Pack price therefore £1.31
Is that right? Maths was never my strong point
Mind you with the recall on the new style Fruit Shoots, I don't think there'll be much stock left for anyone to try this
Maths seem fine on this one.
Incidentally a bit more on the Muller issue.
I was in Asda today and passed down the Yoghurt aisle and saw the Muller display ...... something you forgot to mention ....
... it's a DUAL OFFER
6 for £3 OR 10 for £4
Obviously MySM are just applying the 6 for £3 rules EVEN IF you buy 10 of them.
Perhaps they've made a mistake and should be doing the pricing for BOTH scenarios
OR
just maybe - they can't - maybe the system they use only allows for a single multi-buy option across a range of products and they can't process a second for a quantity variance without a change to the software programming
Worth keeping an eye out in future for this type of dual offer at Asda where, with a bit of luck, the same advantage could come our way

I won £10 on "your world". Don't really understand what the "tickets" (points) are meant for.
Imagine if we all move to their site & if they like our post we get paid:D think I might spend more time over their site than here:p
For those who does not know what's "your world" its like a forum site from tekco:eek: well as long as they pay me ( their prize is bet. £50 to £10 weekly draw) for my comment or blog me shall do as often as I can.;)
So far I won twice & you can choose L2S voucher or Amazon..Dr.Who-Who wrote: »Apologise in advance as I won't be posting as much as I would like now. But I still read lurking & if I come across something good you will be the 1st to know. My goal post has moved.:o
I am spending more time on "YW" than here. This is because I get to enter into weekly prize draw for posting carps:D:D and I get nowt from this website except from having lovely visual friends on this thread only.
Its a shame that I cannot recommend any/all of you over to "YW" as its a closed community. But rest assure if they ever open the site I'll def'ly get the lot of you over to their site (count me out thanks:() as least one of us will win their weekly prize draw since all of us here like to talk a lot:cool:, what we talk about on here are relevant to their blog, here we have almost 24hrs shift:rotfl:
Even I don't post it does not mean I have abandon you lot.
I am not sure how to respond to the above without upsetting my sis like she has upset me so kept quite for a few days:cool:
Yes, Imagine if we did all move to the your world site like my sis has, there would be no help for each other when needed, no glitches to see like CW's orange juice glitch (thanks for the pm CW:A:A), no mission control love 2 shop vouchers as we wouldn't know about it with just being on the above site AND some people who make a LOT of use of the Tesco RTD and previously the DTD they/we would not know about that as it is prob not posted on that site. But hey ho, what's that matter if you can win a couple of quid here and there;) I would love to hear if you win more on that site than you have got through dtd and love2shop vouchers sis:cool:
Hopefully Bully will post a few comps on here when wimbledon is over.
I am not sure about others, but tbh I don't post on here for what I can get money wise/in glitches/offers, I post on here cos I love the community we have built and the family feel. As much as I would love to be rich, money is not everything, friendship and some family is more precious and I value my friends I have made on here. I know if I need help/advice or just wanna moan/whinge I can come on here and hopefully everyone else feels the same. There are some VERY generous people on here and if I ever get an invite to some crappy website that needs all my time then I won't be accepting it.;)Best_price wrote: »Anyone heard from Blue? Thanks for asking BP. I have been pretty tired since my Blackpool trip and had a lot to sort out, plus it has been my OH's birthday so had to help him celebrate with a drink or 2 and a night out:D:D
I might not have wombled at CW's store while away BUT I did womble at another Asda and managed £7.30:j:jIt's so nice that a fellow drinker left their receipt for me with 3 x cases of stella on it which was cheaper at Tesco:D:D
Off to catch up with the rest of the posts and to see how pm's wedding is going as only quickly read a few posts.Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

I don't know what your so cheerful for as it has been a terrible month for you. Your Uncle is obv not very happy with you as he has not given you so little since Novemeber:eek::eek: I think BP and CW's Uncles have been more generous:D:DBe thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

adoreholidays wrote: »Thinking of absent friends anyone heard anything from sher and how she getting on in the US
Sher seems quite happy, well as happy as she can be without her hubby. She has got her own home now, a job and is very active in the church plus she plays our weekly games on FB and is usually the weekly winner. Her son is still in England but at least she has her daughter with her and the rest of her family.
Talking of games on FB, "have a nice day MT":rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Aren't you her pal on FB ah? If not then find her through my pals, am sure she would love to hear from you and any others.Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

Morning all:)
Lately I seem to feel less awake in the morning when I get up than I do when I go to bed:rotfl:
It's another rather wet and dull morning, I think it's a weather curse for them announcing a drout back at Easter which put me off buying flowers this year for garden:( as no point if we were going to be stopped from only emergency use of water here in the south. Doesn't seem to have let up since:rotfl:
SND thinking of you and your baking this morning:A:A:A they will be wonderful. Guess you won't be getting a yoga lesson today either. Any more news about support for your mum from RNIB especially with the door situation.0 -
:hello::hello::hello: Blue we missed your posts. I knew boozing would have been involved somewhere:D:p.
Have to agree with your post about this being more about the community feel, the support and advice for each other is trully amazing via the thread or PM. Also the advantage of it not being too big, added to that the occasional glitches found elsewhere brought for a us all to enjoy especially like SSM which brought us all together helping each other that night. Sharing the good news when one of us won a big comp. I feel this is more than about saving money although thats the big bonus of it:D:D:D;).
I am sure MAGS will be along soon and put exactly in words what I am trying to say in a much better way I love to read her posts:A0
