Morning CW and everyone else, going to be a wet one today (at least I won't have to water the allotment - that reminds me - virtual spud time!) :D

DS2 purchased the new Ipad before we went but wanted us to buy the leather cover for it over there he reckons we saved him about £15:T:j DS1's Girlfriend reckoned she could have saved £200 on the mac pro purchasing over there
DD2 saved about £60 on the iPad - well worth it :T

Started my day off with tears Quoia, very moving....

    Morning all.
PM you only need 2 people at a wedding, the 2 most important.....you and your other half....that's all there were at mine , plus 2 witnesses, we had a woman from the typing pool at the registry office and a bloke that was waiting for someone.....it was a wonderful memorable day, all I had on my mind was my hubby and all he had to think about was me....been married 45 years this year...hubby got a job offer 200 miles from home and was a real 'mummy's boy' and was about to refuse the job as he said he couldn't move away from home and look after himself......problem solved if we got married and I went with him( no such thing allowed as living together back then, although it's the 'norm' these days)....he hates fuss and said he couldn't do with all the faffing about for a 'big wedding'...problem solved....just me and him....we told everyone about it after the event.....I'm older than my hubby and his mum thought I was a 'scarlet woman' for running off with her son....we eventually became great friends, when she realised how happy he was.( and still is)

Good morning. Two very mixed emotions reading this mornings posts. A very moving one from quoia, thanks for sharing the memories.

Then I read Bully's and just laughed when I read the part about her being a "scarlet woman". Anyone who has met Bully wouldn't imagine she could be called that, but I guess people change as they get older:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

PM you've read the story of a long and happy marriage so stop faffing about and think about Bully's story;)Just invite your mum and brother and maybe you will reach 45 years happy marriage:D btw Bully, what kinda dress did you wear?
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)
