Quoia, you are the second person this morning to make me cry. That was truly beautiful.

When I get married none of my family will be there. It will be DH's side. No loss on my part. Life is too short too worry about things like that.

I like what Blue and BP said, esp BP.

    Who else made you cry?

wondered if anyone had / know of a suitable cookie/biscuit mix, i'm assuming as its got to be piped so to speak you need a looser mix
    TIA

hi MT, strangely enough i got bought something very similar a couple of days ago but mine is supposed to be for icing cakes exacly the same as the picture on your box tho, tbh i have had a lok at it and dont think it will be s0d all use to ice as the handle clicks out very small amounts at a time rather than a nice steady stream. let me know if it works for biscuits and i may try using it for that instead.

Quoia, very moving post... your heart must have been breaking composing that.

I wrote a personal poem to myself when my mother passed. Every now and again I come across it when going through memory box... afterwards i close my eyes to catch my thoughts and feel as if someone is pulling my heart out.

You asked about my dress Blue....are you ready for this, as you say you've met me , wonder if this will surprise you, .... white 'Mary Quant ' style, quite short, mini dress...fully lined chiffony material,( very 1960's)navy blue ,fitted lightweight woollen coat with navy shoes and bag....we got married early afternoon and went across the road and sat on a wall and shared a cornish pasty as we were starving as we hadn't had lunch....it was the best cornish pasty I've ever had !!

    Great post... lol

Seconds within getting married ...I fainted...same problem, no food all day!

Just spent a rather annoying hour on the phone to kodak customer services.I dont know how many ways i can say i cannot do that because your website is broken:mad::mad:
Got there in the end with a lot of shouting.I dont like shouting at call centre people their only doing they job but seriously they have to have a modicum of common sense. In the end only seemed I got anywhere because i shouted at them!
  • Part Mouse: this is for you - https://www.facebook.com/Cherish.Bridal.Accessories

assuming you are on fb of course,

"wow only 148 like to go until I draw out the name of the second winner of this beautiful necklace. To be in with a chance please share the news of this competition and page. Good luck to you all xxx"

    Go PM...

On second thoughts, those of us on FB we could all enter this on PM's behalf - and vow to pass it on if we were to win. Just a thought. Im in!

    Dear Part Mouse

You and your husband to be are all that matters now. Your past, well whatever happened you are still here with us today and even though your battles may continue you are a winning inspiration to us all. I have the loneliest family in the world, there are never many to attend weddings, funerals and I don't think, in my lifetime there has been a christening. What matters most is that your fiance loves you with his huge big heart and I can only echo what has been previously suggested that all that matters is you and he on the day when you become one. It was a second marriage for both myself and my husband and a small gathering. When I look back I am just thankful Chloe and DD2 (DD3 was a mere twinkle) were our bridesmaids and those pictures offer such comfort to me now more than seeing relatives I did not know.

Along with your vows you are also committing to be each other's family in good times and bad. Focus on that PM, for it is he who will be by your side for the rest of your lives.

Who knows what the future holds as to children. There is a saying "they make your arms ache when they are babies and your heart ache when they are grown". OMG, never a truer word...

If babies are to be in your future then that is Fate's secret and there are many many other options.

PM - your best is yet to come. Put your worries in a box marked for later, and open the one that says "yay, Im getting married in 10 weeks to a man who loves me".

If you do have FB, indeed if any of you are on it and wanna be my pal I promise to share with you lots of inspirational carp. lol

SnD - how are you today? x

MT, well "our" apg ground is sometimes a bit thin on the ground, haven't been to your nearest for a while (but I still like that wasteland near it for tumbleweed receipts). I prefer going up to the Mall...

and I can sympathise with car probs. Earlier this week a familiar throaty sound emitted from behind, Oh no, the exhaust. Kwik-fit - robbing so & so's smuggly informed us that it was the most expensive bit as the cat was on it, £357!

Local guy up in the Quarry charged £20 for a 10 min welding job. Big relief.

Take care everyone, sheesh, its raining - AGAIN!
Love, through the trees, past the sky, beyond the northern lights; and I won't let go. May your soul and spirt fly sweetheart x

My alphabet-girls are with me every step of the way x

Mags, anyone who knows me knows that I very rarely cry. Since my dad died and I eventually cried bucket loadsa, the only real tears have been with anger at something or other, but your post today struck a chord. Good job I had some free kleenex at the side of me;)

I would love to be your pal on FB and maybe see some more pics of Chloe and the rest of the family, plus of course read some more of your inspirational stuff:D You truly have a way with words.
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)
