who to complain to ?

Hi guys, just a quick one if anyone knows,

I had this guy knock on the door and say "I’m from southern electric" I said straight away I don't buy ANYTHING at the door so sorry but no thanks, with that he then banged on about deregulation, which anyone with half brain knows about, but I digress he I said ARE YOU SELLING ANYTHING ? YES OR NO. He said no and started going on about he got this list this morning and I am on the higher paying list, by now I'm getting really P'ed off and asked him to leave my premises of which he must of been hard of hearing cause after I ask him 3-4 times I then had to shut the door in his face just to get rid of him.

This I thought had stopped but maybe not

I want to complain, I have rung southern electric and told them the situation and they said they will place the complaint against the sales man, but is it worth complaining to someone else? if there is anyone else to complain too.

    Best course is to put in a written letter of complaint to Southern, if you're not happy with their response then you can go to energywatch.

    Not sure much will happen though, can't see anything from your post which suggests he tried to mis-sell, just that he was a nuisance.
  • They're all a bloody nuisance, British Gas broke my letter box a few months ago hammering on it instead of using the knocker :mad: Then they tell me that they can save me a fortune if I swap to them....hysterical, since they have no idea who I'm with or what I pay :rolleyes:

    Energywatch actually have there only section for supplier sales - We get sent out graphs every 3 months - Npower are alwasy up the top :)

    First port of call is always your supplier and if your not happy with there answer then its energywatch.
