    Just to reiterate what others have said:-

    DO NOT put this through insurance. You will pay for it for 5 years and significantly more than the headlight.

    Buy one of those on EBay or similar places.

    Don't get the dealer to replace get a local garage.

    All in it will cost you around the same as your excess.

    Parts 24/7 or similar to get the salvage yards to dig one out for you.

    Just check that the light is all you need - on some cars the light bolts to a plastic carrier and if the carrier itself is broken you may need that part too to fit it all easily. Pull it apart and check before you spend out on parts only to find you need something else as well or something differenT

    Most car headlights are designed to be removed with just a few bolts/screws, and minimal fuss though.
