Sky vs. Tesco BB and how does their speed compare?

Hi, I would be thankful for the advice. My BT BB contract just ended and their new offer is far from competetive. My best options price-wise are Sky and Tesco, Sky being £5 for 9 months +12.25 rental (annual cost £222), and Tesco being £2.5 for 12 months + £13.75 rental - £35 Quidco cashback (annual cost £160).

However, I am too daft to understand their speeds. Can you please help out? As you can see all measurements are different!

Tesco speed test: between 0.5 meg and 1.5 meg
Sky speed test: 2.6Mbps - 7.0Mbps

BT speed test (current provider): Between 4.5Mb and 11.0Mb (Estimated speed: 7.0Mb)
