It depends on what theme you are going for.
E.g. If you are doing a gardening theme, you can use a flower pot.0 -
Thanks Cleggie.
Am thinking general girly stuff really so lotions, potions, make up, books, DVD's choccies etc etc.:beer:0 -
How about getting a bowl to put it all in, and then the bowl can be used to put popcorn in, to watch the DVDs etc?0

I recently made a pamper hamper for my sister's birthday.
I bought a small laundry basket from Poundland, lined it with a thick bath sheet in her favourite colour, and filled it with books, DVDs, choccies, bubble baths, a bottle of Smirnoff Ice, etc.
Here are the pics:Smiles are as perfect a gift as hugs...

You can get nice storage boxes with lids from places like Dunelm quite cheaply, which can be used afterwards. For the ones I did at Xmas I just covered some cardboard boxes in wrapping paper & they looked great by the time they were full. I did make sure that the paper covered most of the inside.0

Matalan do a storage basket (they call it a paper tray) for £5 but not sure if it would be a bit too big (sorry can't post link as I'm a new user)1008 Hollywalk Park Blog0

Places like The Card Factory sell large sturdy Cardboard gift boxes with lids (normally holographic designs). Loads of shops e.g Wilkinsons have a huge range of baskets and boxes http://www.wilkinsonplus.com/storage-solutions/icat/storagesolutions/ from faux leather DVD stoarage boxes to large cake tins to plastic baskets and more.A waist is a terrible thing to mind.0

My local Asda has smartprice translucent white plastic waste paper baskets for just over a pound each.
Ikea have similar for about £1.50 or £2.
The pound shops have cleaning caddy's which would make a good hamper for girly stuff - the sort with a handle in the middle and compartments either side.0 -
I've no idea what these are like in person as I don't have a Poundland, only a poundworld. I have been being nosy on their website though and have spotted these which might be some good for people, especially if they can be parcelled up with various festive papers etc:

if your budget would stretch (or maybe carboots, charity shop finds) vanity cases would be ideal for a pamper hamper or even large make up bags if you could arrange it so the gifts 'spill' out of the top, you would have to weight the bag down somehow?!Mummy to ds 29/12/06 dd 10/2/08 ds 25/5/11:Amy angel born too soon 18/11/12, always with me Emmie Faith:A15 projects in 2015 10/15completed0
