Passport Validity - Jet2

Hi,
I am going on holiday to Majorca at the start of June. Yesterday I received my Daughters passport and enclosed was a information leaflet from the Foreign & Commonwealth Office. On it stated that some airlines require 6 months validity of their passports. My passport expires in September 2012 (i.e. 3 months validity). I had already satisfied myself that Spain was Ok validity wise, but now they mention airlines rather than Countries I am confused.
I have looked through the Jet2 website but cant see if they are one of those airlines. Their call centre is 60p a minute so thoguht I would try here first. Does anyone know if you require 6 months validity on your passport when flying with Jet2? Thanks

Only mention of timing on Jet2 website is 90days for Czech Republic.
What happens when you enter your info online for your flight - does it accept it ?0 -
The jet 2 website says:
In order to ensure compliance with Immigration and other governmental authorities, Jet2.com customers are required to travel with a valid passport and any necessary visas, where required, on all international flights
I'm not fully convinced that there are any airlines that insist on 6 months. Package holiday companies, yes, but not airlines0 -
I don't think that the airline would be allowed to refuse to take you if you presented a passport that was valid for your destination. You have already checked their website and presumably have looked through the small print in your booking confirmation. If they wanted to impose a condition such as this they would have to say so explicitly.0

Nothing in the T&C's. Havent entered passport details yet as only got daughters passport yesterday. Will do that tonight and will assume if its accepted with no bother then there wont be an issue.

I'd consider Jet2 better than many but I'd love to see you arguing the toss with one of RYR's check-in agents and winning :rotfl:0 -
I used to work for Jet2.com and the only stipulation was that a passenger had to travel with a valid passport. The Czech Republic is in the EU so as long as your passport is valid for your trip, you'll be fine. This space has been intentionally left blank0

There's nothing to stop you renewing your passport now.
You can renew anytime, and if you do it in the 9 months before expiry they credit those months so a new passport issued to you today would be valid until September 2022.0
