new water bill

As the new water bills are dropping through letter boxes i am shocked to see ours has risen to £503.06 a rise of ££40.59p.

I'm wondering what your water bill is? has it risen and if so by how much ?

we are with Bristol Water. Can an increase like this be fair in the current finacial climate?

wages arent rising yet Bills are.

Are you shocked by your bill?

Two of us in a three bed house, on a meter. £20.50 a month.
I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.

    That's strange.
It should reduce it according to this news. Don't know if it covers Bristol though near enough.
Britain's highest water bills are set to be cut by £50 a year as MPs voted through a £400 million handout to a private company.

South West Water customers, mainly in Devon and Cornwall, pay more than consumers elsewhere in the UK but the Commons has agreed to reduce their bills through the Water Industry (Financial Assistance) Bill which is being rushed through Parliament.

We are with Yorkshire water and ours for a 2 bed flat is £535 :( We aren't allowed a water meter. It has gone up by approx £50 this year! Wish our wages had.
