E-mail program wanted

I'd recommend The Bat! Used it for years and years, very good email program with some really nice features that I never use but sound great when family say I've done this with it!
It's not free though, however I've bought my version, and frankly it's worth the small amount it costs.
The big thing is the multiple accounts, how nice and easy they look with two or three or more. So I have emailing list emails on one account come through, with normal "proper" email account.. no silly switching/logging off/on etc. They just all run in one client at the same time, in a very smart looking way. Ergonomic if that exists for software use0 -

Question for you Thunderbird experts (sorry to hijack the thread). Does TB support Gmail/IMAP and can you set up TB so that if you delete an email it moves it to the [Gmail]/Trash folder. 0

I use incredimail. Some of the features, like the notifier and typing sounds can be annoying but you can turn em off. And the choice of backgrounds and cartoon inserts is amazing

Has anyone suggested Thunderbird to you?
I find it good!!0 -
I can't believe no-one has yet suggested Outlook.... so I will
I use (on various machines & e-mail accounts) Outlook, Outlook Express, and Thunderbird, steer clear of windows mail ( no need for an e-mail account on my vista and W7 machines), and to be totally honest, Outlook is the best of them by a long way, as long as you stick with 2003 and not the later versions. Thunderbird is a PITA loading, it takes forever, and just isn't as good all-round as Outlook (IMHO, of course).......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple0
