    Many thanks for info
  • I wonder if anyone dealing with Cedar Holdings has the original paperwork which should list the underwriter for the ppi, as the
Ombudsman advises this could be the way to go for a claim.
    My email is admin@kdmadvertising.com
  • Cedar Holdings was never regulated by the FSA.Therefore there is nobody to complain to.

Indeed, but 90% of all Cedar deals were placed with them by 2nd charge brokers so it is them whom the people should contact as Cedar transacted little direct business
  • Has anyone made any progress at all with their claim?
  • I actually have documentation which states that they are part of the Lloyds TSB Group

Please see my post above. You are all barking up the wrong tree. Cedar will not be responsible for the ppi this will have been included by the broker you used to access their services and the fact that all of the sales will be before Jan 2005 means you do not have a cat in hells chance of redress

It is but it is also a separate legal entity. Therefore FOS has no jurisdiction over it.

And as Brokerwise says, it is the broker that was responsible for the sale.
