I also am in the process of making a claim against Cedar Holdings for a PPI refund. I have all the original paperwork from the loan application and subsequent documentation and correspondence. On all the paperwork received from Cedar Holdings, their is a statement that quite clearly indicates that they are part of Lloyds - TSB Group, with a registered office of 71 Lombard street London. This is Lloyds TSB Head Office.I was also told on the `phone by Lloyds PPI claims dept` that they do not recognise my Cedar Holdings Account Number, but that I should go into my local branch and that they would be able to sort it all out for me ! ! I don`t hold out to much hope on that score, but it will be just a case of been very persistent and bloody minded in dealing with Lloyds TSB Bank. In my opinion they were the source of the money and ultimately are responsible for the refund.
  • i have got a solicitor onto mine now, we had a mortgage with cedar holdings and its paid up now so they owe us a big amount wecwerecwith them 15 years so our solicitor is dealing with it now, he said its the onlyvway being its a big some of money they owe us , so i dont mind the wating game, wont be to long now though we were told hope you have good luck soon every one dont let them get awaay with it they owe you

Regulation didnt start until 2005. If the company no longer exists, there is nobody to take responsibility for them.
