No, I just read the posts thoroughly.

    Do you still insist?

The chance of 3 trying to charge the VAT twice is next to nothing. This can only happen if the price given to OP was plus VAT. It seem OP (and you) dont seem to understand how the VAT work for business.
Why assume the 3 is at fault and misssold without having all facts?

It's zero. Nobody argues about this.
This can only happen if the price given to OP was plus VAT.
Then the OP was missold and the phone call record will prove either this or that the OP missed "plus VAT" bit that the 'guy' made clear to them.

I know this probably even better than you, but feel free to give us a lecture. Don't forget to tell us why all private customers have to know how the VAT works for business.

What make you say OP is not running a business?
If you read the post you will know.

I have never said this. I did read and I do know.
However, '3' are not supposed to know this and all people running businesses are not supposed to use only business contracts.

Vat is being charged on the line rental and out of bundle charges. Vat is being changed on the whole bill not part. Check your breakdown which has the changes and Vat split out.

If you had read the post you would have noticed the OP state they were on a domestic tariff not a business one. They just use it for their business as well. Because of this you should have a quote in your original correspondence stating the price including VAT. If you do check this and realise the price is higher than you thought you'll have to ring Three. It is your responsibility to check your contract terms. Good luck.

Yes, I believe the VAT amount is shown separately (as it should be). There probably isn't a problem here, just a misreading of the bill.

Your line rental will show plus the chargeable calls without VAT on page one of your bill, then the amount of VAT on that total below it then showing the complete total of the bill below that.

Hi - hate to wade into the argument, but I've just had a similar problem with three - I upgraded to the one plan and IPhone recently and my contract is clear that the cost is £34pcm INCLUSIVE of VAT.

My previous cost with them was £20 pcm inc of VAT. Just received my first bill - over £60!! This made me look closely, yes there is £6 net of calls and £1 net in texts but went I started to break it down, I'd been charge VAT on top of my monthly price plan AND they'd added an extra £5 or so for extra minutes.....not asked for and definitely not required on the one plan!

Called three - the operative was having none of it and basically telling me I didn't know what I was talking about...asked to speak to a supervisor and was told they would call back within half an hour. 3 hours later, no call back so I called them again. Some 40 minutes later they finally conceded and promised a credit against my next bill of some £20....lets see what happens but yes, they can be sneaky on the vat issue so you should definitely query it. Fortunately as it was a recent purchase I had my contact to hand as at first they said my contract price would not be inclusive!! Good luck
