Thanks for idea atypicalblonde. I will start a new thread shortly.
The creme egg is still intact. I am amazed at my restraint!
Haven't really been that active in my DFW life today ... contacted Egg and cancelled the PPI on my credit card. Not really going to affect things though as the balance is going across to the M&S card!
I can't decide whether to close the Egg account or not. My Egg anniversary comes up in June so perhaps I should use the 0% for 5 month offer then to move some back from my M&S card. The question would be what to do with that when the 5 months is up (Nov 07) because my 6 month window for balance transfers to M&S will have passed (Sep 07).
Other than that had an NSD today, which is always good!Pennies make pounds.

Well. Today I saw my credit report for the first time. Checked it online at garlik.com (getting 50 piggypoints in the process).
And it's way better than I thought. Which explains why M&S gave me a whopping £6000 limit on my new CC (don't worry ... it's already cut up into little pieces so I can't actually use it!).
I have one default for my Smile bank account which has been in OD since... oh my, I don't want to think about it, and on which I have frequently been over the OD limit because of not being ahead of the game on when my payments come out of the account.
Interestingly, the report puts the default date as 23rd January 1800 - so you'd think it would have dropped off the report by now!!!! :rotfl:
It's a shock to see the size of our mortgage on there as well because I don't really think about this as a debt ... certainly it's not one I worry about (OH manages it but it is joint names), so I'm going to continue not thinking about it until my other debts are paid.
There is a CC missing from the report. I have/had one with the Royal Bank of Scotland (long since cut up and the balance reduced to zero ... but the account was still open - I sent a letter to close it at the end of last week).
Well. I'm off do my daily clicks and earn a few pennies. Apart from reading my credit report I've not got anything else planned in the way of DFWing today. The creme egg still stares at me...Pennies make pounds.

Hi - don't want to put a dampner on your day but I checked my credit report with garlik thro pigsback too, and not one of my debts showed up on there!! I've got a report from Experian and Equifax and they're all on there.... which is very bizarre, just didn't want you lulled into false sense of security.
How's the egg looking? I really want one.......!!! x"Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." Edmund Burke

Elantan, no sausage dogs yet - I haven't had any time. I'm away this weekend so no time then either....hopefully I have a free evening next week though. I am looking forward to getting creative with my old clothes to make them

We have a garden but I am very UN-greenfingered. But our garden certainly could do with some care and attention. Physical activity/work really does help my depression and so I think I'm going to try and sort it out ... if I can figure out what's weeds and what's not. But I think trying to grow some veg probably won't happen.
Thanks for the concern, Tigz ... but I *think* all the debts that concern me are listed on the Garlik site.
And whether they are or not - the way I look at it, the fact that M&S were will to give me £6000 credit shows that my credit report can't be too wrecked .... and that is a good thing. But flippin' 'eck ... 6000!!! What were they thinking??!? Were they trying to sabotage my DFW ways?? EVIL Credit Card companies. Evil.
I've been trying to get my online experian one through creditexpert but it keeps coming up (after I have entered all my details for the free trial) with "Sorry creditexpert is not available at the moment. Please try again later". Very frustrating. But I'm going to keep trying.
The egg is looking really tempting right now. Went through the main office and one of the secretaries was munching on a bag of mini creme eggs and offered me one!!  I am pleased to report that refused her generous offer :A after all if I'm going to eat one it's going to be the big one that has been teasing me ...Pennies make pounds.

lol and i bet you'll enjoy every bit of it ...i'm really not green fingered myself either but i'm thinking nutrition ,money and hopefully enjoyment ...apparently it's easy and we do have a greenfingered board on here that would be more than willing to help ...just a suggestion ...now i'm off out to buy a yorkie i cant resist0

You're making great progress onedayiwill. I love the creme egg challenge!
I'm hoping to grow some veggies in our garden this year, I was watching Jamie Oliver the other week, and he said that just by chucking seeds into mud, a good percentage of things will grow, and that you just get better at it over time, so I think I'll give it a go. If I could grow lettuce that would be fab, we get through so much of it!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
Phew that's ok then re your credit. It doesn't show anything up on mine which I know isn't true!
Oooh I so want a Creme Egg..... my BF is here in a while so might walk over to the shop to get one.... least the walk will counter out the calories!! lol"Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." Edmund Burke
