O2, house move and quidco

Currently been with O2 for coming up to two years in June for the broadband. Currently still on a legacy package and paying £9.50 (so never had traffic management), and therefore not contracted. Only have broadband with O2, not the phone line (which is BT)
I've been an O2 Mobile customer since Jan 2010, and use my contract to get the fiver off a month.
Currently buying a house, looking to move end of May. Want O2 phone + broadband in the new place (it's also LLU for O2).
What's the best way of playing it so that I can get the quidco and X months half price? Should I look to give 30 days notice at this place in April and then just start afresh? Or is there a better way of getting quidco and any offer?
Main problem as I see it is that they give their best offers to 2+ year mobile customers, so I can't just sign up at the new place using quidco and then transfer the mobile discount after :S

First off. You do know that your package WILL change if you take HP+HBB with O2. If you just take HBB with o2 then your package shouldnt change. There is NO WAY to stay on the old package AND have home phone now.
Secondly, whats the quidco offer? 6 months? Why dont you use your head and do this. Request a cancel, say youve had a better offer for HP+HBB. See what o2 can offer for HP+HBB (if youre happy to switch the package)
If its better than quidco - take it. If not, cancel and start afresh!0 -

hi thanks for the reply.
Not bothered about the package changing as it appears to have gone to traffic managed and then off traffic managed since I first signed up in 2010. I probably don't shift more than 40GB most months anyway but would prefer for it not to be limited (don't mind daytime throttling so will put any downloads/updates to be done through the night instead).
Quidco offers £100 for The All Rounder, and states the deal can be completed over the phone.
Broadband & Home Phone from £19.25
Prices are per month and include 12 months half price broadband
Can't see them matching that without involving quidco. Didn't want to swap packages/home phone while I'm still here for a couple of months, I suppose that might be one option though (and then subsequently port it over).0 -
Like i say if youre happy with a package change, then ring them anywa and see what they will offer you. Otherwise go quidco. good luck to ya! Remember, just be chill on the phone when talking to retentions. To get to retentions you have to say you want to cancel.0

If anyone's interested, they won't touch the deal offered for new customers.
Have put in my notice with BT (30 days), o2 then sent a bunch of texts the next day about the landline going. They've only usually got a 7 day notice period (or the chap in retentions yesterday didn't want me to affect his stats), but they've agreed to cancel it to coincide with the BT date next month.
Will then re-sign up for £19.25 a month for the 'All rounder' with evening/weekend calls.0
