Advice for a simpleton please!

I'm sorry to have to ask this question, but I really don't understand mobiles so I don't even know what I should search for in order to find answers!

I have a SE K750i which was given to me by my brother so is legit. It was sent to his business as part of an upgrade and they use Vodafone.
I put my Orange SIM in and it works absolutely fine, I can make calls and text.

Now I've decided that I want to be able to surf the net on it and it wont let me. It tries to connect to Vodafone Live then give me this message: Connection failed, check network coverage or data and internet settings.
Does this mean it is "Locked"? What can I do to access Orange's web pages?
Sorry if this seems a little simple, but I'm a true technophobe!

If it was originally taken out under a Vodafone connection than the WAP (web) settings will probably be set up to access the Vodafone service. But because you're on an Orange sim, it won't actually be able to connect under those settings.

You need to reconfigure the wap settings to point to the Orange portal The easiest way is to go to this link and it should send a text message which does it for you automatically.

You should also check your tariff to make sure how much web browsing costs?

sometimes the voda branding overrides settings and may need reflashing to get rid of the branding

Thanks Jaxer, I followed the instructions on the link you supplied and it all looked good but after I tried to connect once I'd recieved the text from Orange, I got the message that it was Loading...then after a couple of mins got a Communication Failure message. -Incidentally, the icon was still showing as Vodafine Live and not Orange World

Could it be as drahoir suggests? I haven't a clue what reflashing is! Is there an idiot's guide to this or should I steer well clear?
