ok the thanks thing is now working but unfortunately the hack is not 100% compatible with our version of vbb, it works but prints errors when it redirects.

I will be getting a version of it for VBB 3.0.6 for it tomorrow. in the meanwhile try not to use it too much

as for the post counts... the problem with vbb is that once a week it runs a cleanup script. amongst the things it likes to do is thrawl the userlist and take count of all the posts and threads started by them (physically present in the forum DB). subsequently it updates their profiles if neccessary and moves on to the next user.

it is futile to keep changing, it wont last for long

I'm happy so say I haven't a clue what that's all about.

I lost over 4,000 it was just a certain amount of posts within a certain time and it may even happen again while they are tweaking and refining the new software,sorry.:o

I'm going to move this over to the 'site questions board ' and if you have any more questions feel free to ask and someone will help I'm sure as much as possible;)
