I posted this in a new thread on another forum, but I've been redirected here (search didn't bring this up for some reason!) so I'll copy and paste, as I too am waiting for a fair amount of money and getting increasingly angry!

As I'm sure you're all aware, Fatcheese have gone from being a brilliant, friendly cashback site that replied to queries quickly and paid out within hours to being, well, thieving sh*ts apparently. People have been waiting for requested payouts for over a month in some cases. Tracking is poor and only updated once in the past couple of months rather than daily. One of the daily clicks has pulled out of Fatcheese and Thincheese but not been removed. Some daily clicks have been "Pending" since early 2010. Lifetime Loyalty is not being paid. The live chat has been removed from the site. Tickets have been broken for over a year. Emails don't get replies. All in all, it is not looking good.

So, what can we do? I can't be the only person who is owed a fair amount of money and not willing to just blindly do the daily clicks every day and hope they magically crawl back out of the woodwork and pay us without trying to do something about it!

I've found three email addresses in total - admin@fatcheese.co.uk support@fatcheese.co.uk and support@fatcheese.ie - the Irish site appears to be run by exactly the same people but I wonder if the UK inboxes are full of complaints and the Irish one might get read more quickly?

They have a Facebook page for their Irish site but not the UK site. A friend of mine actually got a reply on there at the end of April from "Ben" who used to reply to tickets (before the system mysteriously "broke" and never got fixed again!) but he has now stopepd replying. It seems odd that anyone would reply at all considering they seem to be refusing to pay us (and have apparently even gone out of business according to above posts?!).

Perhaps if everyone who has a problem with the site emails all three addresses and also sends a Facebook message (you don't have to like the Facebook page in order to send them a message), let's see if we get any replies to our questions...

Has anyone seen any other way of contacting them?

I too, am growing more and more concerned that all isn't as it should be...I have had payments made this year but there are several transactions that should now be awarded (indeed same company via other cashback sites paid out for that months transactions some time ago)...

I have also tried to contact T and Maya and not had a reply.

How strange - I've had nothing since that last update :(

My friend sent them another message on Facebook calling them out about the above link that says they've gone out of business. If I had an account I'd do the same! Does anyone else want to try this and see what they have to say for themselves?
  • No replies to e-mails or tickets; no money moved from confirmed to payable; no pending moved to confirmed; I have a feeling I'm not about to see my money anytime soon.

and the last payment I requested is still pending...

I've just seen Fatcheese & Thincheese have finally paid money into my bank, requested over a month ago!

Same here, finally got the payout I requested a month ago. So that's some good news... weird that they wouldn't reply to emails if they really were going to pay people after all, made me think the worst. But I'm not getting my hopes up too much, I've still got something like £70 pending but I'm not expecting to see it any time soon after the struggle to get what I've just been paid!
  • I've had things outstanding for around 6 months too. Not a good sign when their site is still out of date to be honest.

They say: "Fatcheese promises to pay you cashback when you complete your purchase with any merchant who has the Fatcheese Cashback Guarantee Seal."

I purchased from a site that has their seal (ebookers), and I have not received the payment. It's probably about £40-50 or so.

I have raised tickets which have been ignored, and I have raised tickets to ask why the tickets have been ignored (they have been ignored too).

My impression is that where they have an automated system in place things may possibly be processed, but if there is anything anomalous, then they just plain don't think it's worth their time and effort to deal with it.

In addition, I've got a few quid pending that may or may not see the light of day.

In the meanwhile, I'm not doing any more business via them, as I could equally just go and flush my money down the loo.
