Has anyone had any problems with the E1080? Bought one as a spare for wife and it doesn't seem very good sounds very echoey and can hardly hear what people are saying and they can hardly hear what she is saying-unless it is a faulty one.

Phone delivered this am and seems fine (looks new) and just waiting for £10 top up to be activated which can be up to 5 working days apparently for T mobile, and up to 8 days for O2.

My phone was playing up so i bought one of these to try - it is almost certainly the worst phone i've ever owned in 15 years of having phones.

Call quality was dreadful and build quality was dreadful.

You certainly do get what you pay for. I returned it and instead got a little samsung touch screen phone for £40 which is a million times better.

I got the Samsung E1080 brand new for a fiver with no credit or sim card from Phones 4 U in Oxford Street last year when I was having a really bad day and was meant to be meeting with some friends but my usual phone decided to totally die on me, so I needed something cheap and quick that I could put my old o2 sim in to phone my friends. It worked a treat. I still use it now, it's obviously very basic but the battery life is very good I use it for texting and alarm mainly but I only find myself having to charge it maybe once or twice a week. The sound quality seemed a bit rubbish and low at the beginning but it soon seemed to fix itself maybe I just got used to it. Sometimes the light on the screen goes a bit dodgy and bright but soon fixes itself up. All in all, not bad for a fiver and is much more reliable than my dodgy old phone which was a much newer expensive Nokia model. :P
