It certainly looks a decent enough system to me to run most games, even if not at the highest resolutions. You can get a new core 2 duo base unit with an OS on it for less then £500 nowadays. i think you'd be much better putting the cash towards something like that instead of spending a chunk of cash upgrading.
However, if you can find a top end Athlon 64 cheap on ebay it might be worth chucking it in.It's my problem, it's my problem
