You have the Capital One Classic card.

How do you know? Secure card and progress often give £200 limit...

That would be a different card completely, unfortunately.

6-12 months of using the classic card, and the balance transfer card might become an option :-)

ive just applied for the balance card and got 3 green ticks and to sign the agreement, then got a message saying they would be in touch, does this look good?

"One of our team will now perform additional checks, which typically take 7 working days. In a small number of cases we may need more information to complete your application - if so, we'll write and let you know.

If your application is successful, we'll be sending you your Card as soon as possible. Your PIN number will be posted to you separately."

You've not been reading Martins emails have you? :p

Cap1 recently released a 0% Balance transfer "classic" card... 0% BT for 6 months.

That said, I misread the original post...

Aiming to pay off £50,312.94 in less than 3 years - Starting from December 2015
Current debt total: £32,756.02 (as of 1st March 2018)
Date Free Date Aim: Summer 2019 (8 extra months needed :( )
  • I got that message too hadabadyear,

Phoned them up a few days later as I realised I had confused Cap1 and MBNA (my bad) and clicked on the "apply as an existing customer" option.

They said all fine, had been approved £4,000 limit.

I probably fit the profile of a "great" credit card customer though, sometimes pay off in full, sometimes carry a large balance.

Salary about £40,000, now have £29,000 ish credit limit between 4 cards.

Call Credit reckon my score is only 580 ish, which shows how much use Credit Agency scores are.
Unless it is damaged or discontinued - ignore any discount of over 25%
