Aha - so where would be we check in our luggage if they got rid of their desks? (not said in a snottty high almighty way but an interested way - just making sure it isn't read in the wrong tone as I don't want to start another argument on this thread :cheesy: ). I just felt so sorry for that chap who paid the extra only to be nearly knocked down by the people who didn't pay as they couldn't be bothered to to wait 5 mins for him to get to the plane :-(
But Ryanair don't want you to check in luggage (not in snotty tone:rotfl: )(this is getting ridiculous). They want hand luggage only.

:rotfl: Aha - I get ya - so basically it will be like a bus service with a difference as you will be in the air - so are we not meant to wear anything when we get to the other end of the flight? :rotfl: Maybe they should open Ryanair clothes shops so you dont need luggage and can then buy clothes advertising their company when you land for the week which can then be returned to the shop before take off back home - hhmmm shouldn't give them ideas :rotfl:

I think you should remove this post in case Mr O'Leary is skulking in the backround looking for moneysaving ideas (that's saving his money and spending ours):rotfl:

Now we all know you are talking about yourself here. I was NOT talking to you I was talking to my friend dmg so you are harassing me, so please leave me alone.

THIS is priceless - 'my friend dmg' - and says it all!

and what about this gem: 'I'll report you to the abuse team'.!!!!

you're on a hiding to nothing, winni, when 2 like-minds meet up at the day centre and get the staff to bring mse up.

Before you judge us I think you should check out the post history of Weymuffred, it will still only give you half the story as many of his posts and threads have been deleted. I do consider dmg a friend and would be proud to attend a day centre with her, but thankfully we do not require that.

    OK.OK

so I was wrong on 2 counts:

    1. that winni was a commited mse'r.

    2. thinking that dmg didn't have a friend.

Will the fact that my Ryanair booking doesn't show my middle name but my passport does make a difference?
It's nice to be nutty but's more important to be nice

As long as other details are correct, you shouldn't have a problem x

I wonder if anyone else has come across this Ryanair money-spinning scam? Checking in recently for a flight from Eindhoven to Barcelona (actually ... Gerona) I had to pay for a name change because the name on my passport was different from the one on my reservation. Booking on-line I put my forename as Rob; on my passport it says Robert. That cost me 100 euros. Ryanair's emailed condescending reply to my letter of complaint (you have to write to Dublin Airport) said they were sorry I hadn't understood their terms and conditions. Whichever way you look at it Mr. O'Leary is taking the Micky ... or Michael.

    Regards,
    Rob(ert) Atkey

So when it said in RED letters at the very top of the booking form
All passenger names must match those in the passport/accepted travel document
didn't that give you a clue, it's not a scam - you got it wrong.
