Where can you buy these creams? Ideally I'd like to see them first, but I don't think that's always possible, especially for the Asian brands. I have heard good things about the Missha (sp?) brand, but then for £30 I should hope so!

I bought the skin79 Hot Pink one (my fave so far) from www.treatyourskin.com - it was a genuine product (you have to be careful on ebay) and £17. Missha is £15 to £22.
For the Garnier one you can get a free sample from Facebook Garnier page. You get 3 x sachets plus £1 off voucher and it is about £7 in Asda too.

Thanks. Yeah, I'm a bit wary of eBay for that reason. I have tried the samples of the Garnier. I got the 'light' and it still was too dark for me! My skin is fair, but quite red in parts due to pigmentation/scarring. The Garnier made me look orange.

I have heard good things about Skin79 as well. I just wish I could try before I buy.

Looking at a couple of YouTube videos, I'll probably have to go for the palest Missha (number 13?) because my skin is silly and annoying.

I'm NW18 and I cannot find a bb cream to suit. All way too pale so far & I think I've tried most of the Asian ones;skin79 & Missha and some Skinfood ones as well.
I tried the L'Oreal Nude Magique but that just made me look ashy & dead. Lol.

If anyone else is darker & had success let me know?

This topic has had me fascinated for ages, in fact I've read it about 3 or 4 times just to absorb all the info!

I have extremely sensitive skin, prone to rosacea, acne and ironically dry patches although I get oily by the end of a day. I currently use Elemental Beauty mineral foundation and it's excellent, but I wanted more coverage and if I layer on too much it accentuates the dry bits and fine lines.

So BB creams sound perfect, especially the Korean ones. I saw plenty on ebay but they take quite a while to post and I'd have to buy the lot to try out thoroughly. I can't really be sure of anything unless I test it.

    Which leads me to...

Treat Your Skin were posted earlier I think. On the very off chance I sent an email to them asking if they happened to have any samples. I particularly wanted to try Missha as I use organic and paraben free products. I had an instant response to say they don't have Missha samples but would send me some others. Joy! :)

Well that was Thursday. Today I have just received a very generous bundle from them. Absolutely top marks for customer service and they have won my loyalty if I decide to order.

Ironically the Garnier sample also arrived today, so I can do a thorough comparison.

Since there is so much interest, I'm happy to report back as I use each one. Tempting though it is to slap everything on, I intend to use up each sample so they all get a thorough test.

I think the only thing is they're likely to be too light. I am half Japanese but I have yellow toned quite olive skin and from watching the Youtube reviews they look a lot paler than I am, but maybe they will blend in given a bit of a time.

Anyway, had to post to share the excitement, and to say thanks to all the very comprehensive contributions from everyone.

I shall be back with reviews!

    I have samples of:

Skin 79 - Super BB cream (hot pink one)
Skin 79 - super BB cream (gold one)
BRTC - Gold Caviar BB cream
BRTC - Jasmine Water BB cream
    BRTC - Blemish Recover Balm

I've used the sample Garnier in light and it gives me great cover! Really good for everyday use if I don't want to wear a full made up face or need something more then just Clinique City Block.

Just a question about Ebay, is it not that online shops overcharge for the items and direct from ebay and the source you can get them much cheaper?

I just can't see them all being fakes and I can't afford one from the shops as the price difference is massive :( But i'm concerned now about fakes.

Hope they can help you out too, Jetplane :D

Anyway quick update as I'm too impatient not to have least tried a couple!

Garnier - although the colour was too light I did use some anyway, mostly on my cheeks and chin, blended in well then put a little mineral blusher on top.
First impressions were it was very light feeling and gave reasonable coverage. I then went out for the evening. After a couple of hours I had a check in the ladies and I have to say, I did feel a little oily but it actually looked more 'dewy' if that makes sense. I have oily skin so am used to the feeling, but I don't think the product made me oily, I'm just used to the very matte effect of mineral powder. I wasn't convinced by the dewy-ness, I don't think it suits me personally but I know lots of folk want that effect.
It stood up to an evening out with lots of dancing. I fell asleep in it too :o and my skin was OK in the morning.

But overall it's just a good tinted moisturiser. I compared the ingredients with the other BB samples and Garnier is nowhere near as comprehensive. The BRTC ones have a lot of natural goodies in, which I expect maintains their 'BB status' claim as they originate from healing post surgery creams.

So this morning after washing and moisturising I tried the BRTC Blemish Recovery Balm. It was very pale! But nevermind, I'm not going out today so hey ho! It's designed for blemished, acne prone skin and says it is matte in effect. I found it quite thick to put on and tricky to spread evenly, but weirdly the coverage wasn't particularly impressive. It also accentuated my dry patches a bit and although after about 10 mins it had sort of 'mellowed' into my skin and skin tone.
Actually, update 2 hours in, it now looks really nice and there are no dry patches! I guess it sinks in over time and that has helped. If the colour weren't too pale I'd be tempted by this. Will probably use the rest up tomorrow and see how it fares after a day in the office, I'm using a small dusting of my mineral foundation on top which brings the colour up to my tone quite well (I hope anyway, just popped to shops and I might look a fright for all I know! :rotfl:)

    Will try Skin79 next! :)
Proud to be a moneysaver :)

Hey girls, i have been searching about these bb creams too, i am happy with n17 one but i really want a "proper one" with all the benefits and all.
I've found a seller in amazon that sells genuine products, it has great reviews in amazon.com and sells them for the same price in £... so it is $14 and we pay £14 which i do not mind as they can be quite pricey and at least we know we are getting a genuine product.. here it is
this is the one i want.

the seller has a good reputation
