F1 on Sky - Existing Customers Deal

Hi,

Just thought I'd share that I finally got HD on Sky just for the F1.

Was just on a Basic Entertainment Package.

Currently if you go via Topcashback (deal ends in 3 days I think) and upgrade to HD you get £50.50 Cashback and £50 M&S Voucher. So that's £100.50

HD pack is £123 for a year. So £22.50/12= £1.87 extra a month.

I'm happy. Thought might help someone

After reading this post, I took this offer up yesterday.
Brilliant! much better than anything sky were directly offering.

A big thumbs up from me
  • this seems to be the only current post i can see re F1 not being fully covered by BBC this year .... and the sky f1 channel needed .

See the great post here about getting it for next to nothing from Sky .... but wondered about us on Virgin Media ... whether anyone knows of better deal .

i asked the other day in virgin shop but they said only option is to take their ?? sports ??package at about £22 a month .. just for the approx 8 months of the season .

    Too much money though !!

Only 7 months into Virgin package so presuming threats no good and too early to change .

    thanks

Kurtis_Blue yes , saw that thread but don't recall there was any refernce to my query regarding F1 coverage .

As quoted you stated "Only 7 months into Virgin package so presuming threats no good and too early to change .

    thanks"

I linked to the information that resolved your query.

was thinking of upgrading to HD with this offer.

Can anybody tell me if this is a 12 month contract, seeing you get £50 cashback and M&S vouchers? I presume it is but cant see on the sky website when i click through.

I do see M&S voucher is payed after 45 days but i'm on 12 month half price so when that ends i feel it will hamper a new deal should it be 12 month contract.

remember to read all the small print, this offer will be for new sky+hd customers not for those who have had and cancelled HD in the past - check out the offers/legal stuff etc sections at the foot of the page and read all the small print, will detail contract, eligibility blah blah there

Might not be I haven't seen that mentioned in terms.

Only thing is if you already have a Sky HD box you won't get a new one.
