    The latest version 6.0 available for download is 1.03.
    My build version is also 6.181
    The instruction file that lists things to search for has been updated to 05-09-2004. Thats all there is to it.

    What you are saying now is completely different from what you said two days ago. You wrote that "My build version is also 6.181". Now it has been 1.03 & 1.04.
    I'm getting dizzy. ;)

    Lavasoft used to report version number then build number.
    I had Ad-aware 6.0 v 1.03 build 6.181 ( I still have it in an archive).

    At present they just report version number.
    Lavasoft is a big team and it is not uncommon for different builds to be in existance at the same time based upon the same source code but with different compiler and linker options.

    I can read a splash screen aswell as anybody.
    As far as i can tell Ad-aware 6.0 v1.03 became Ad-aware se 1.03 and then Ad-aware se 1.04 within a short time. I have gone through definitions files dated from 5.09.2004 for 6.0 and all the way to 6.09.2004 for se version 1.03 and 1.04 in 20 minutes.

    I think it's no longer important.

    Your still wrong though.  ;)

    It went from Adaware 6.181 to Adaware SE 1.00 and then 1.01, 1.02, 1.03 and now it's 1.04.

    @Donnie you are correct as usual. When was Ad-aware 6.0 considered an unsuitable product to protect ones computer from spyware by lavasoft ?
    @Donnie
    Sorry for my question. It's not your job do decipher marketing blurb from the genuine technical improvements made by the lavasoft team.
