There may be one other source of info to confront any iffy activity by these companies. I believe for the princely sum of £12 you are entitled to ALL of the information they have relating to you, this should also include any telephone calls. Therefore if you can get a transcript you should have some evidence of ambiguity by the company. It is also SUCH a p in the a for these companies to have to make all of the information available to you!
