Must have been a 3 for 2 offer!0

Where the landowner has suffered a small loss (of whatever 1h 34 minutes parking will be) Parking Pie would have suffered no loss.
They won't visit court again for a while after being whipped for charging penalties0 -
The only point I would be making is that in the 0.00001% chance these idiots actually decide to return to the County Court, after the fiasco of their last appearance, if they persist with the "wrong name" you can return the claim form"Not known at this address" (it will come in brown envelope & have a Northampton CCBC return address- don't open it) at least you will have the satisfaction of knowing they have wasted £25. But don't hold your breath.0

HI
Ive registered on here hoping to find the answers to a Parking eye fine I received (In my hubby name it was his car I was driving!!)
I WAS late back to the car but only by about 8 minutes mainly due to the queing in the last shop, however the "Photos" on the letter show me driving into the car park and then driving out apparently over 20 minutes later than the hour I had paid for!
HOW can this be legal???? It took me AT least 10 minutes from entering the car park to..
1 Park the car in a space
2 Gather up bags etc which I was returning to shops in town
3 Put on my 2 boys coats, gloves bla bla, stop them from messing about etc etc
4 GO AND BUY A TICKET from the machine
Surely they cannot fine you for doing these things prior to purchasing a ticket?? I cartainly wasnt aware that my hour started the second I drove into the car park!!
We have since moved house and the mail is being redirected, I only opened the letter as the sticker obsqured the name... my hubby would have a MASSIVE Fit if he got his hands on this correspondence as I have in the past not paid tickets on time (From local council etc) and its ended up costing more money!! In my defence as my user name implies... I have too much going on and my memory for things like paying parking tickets isnt great!!!
Advise on what to do now regarding this letter would be appreciatedSorry for going on abit!!

OK, lets cut to the chase. As soon as you mentioned Parking Lie we knew what the response to you was going to be! No need to even think about the details, except to say, that is the way these money scamming crooks operate, their profit consists entirely of conning people into paying fake tickets.
You have made mistakes in the past with Council tickets which have cost you money, and, understandably your husband wasn't pleased. Unfortunately, you cannot ignore Council parking fines, they WILL come back to bite you!
But the good news is that it is PERFECTLY SAFE to ignore ANYTHING you get from Parking Spy because unlike the Council tickets (which they do their best to imitate) there is absolutely NO NEED to pay, they are completely unenforceable.
Obviously I don't know your hubby, but it seems to me that since this fake "ticket" will not cost anything it might be safer to put him in the picture, if necessary direct him to this site? Up to you.
Whatever, all you need to do is to take each and every letter they will send you and file it away in a bottom drawer, unopened if you prefer; DO NOT REPLY, DO NOT APPEAL, DO NOT CONTACT ANY OF THE PEOPLE IN ANY WAY.
They will send out a set routine of template letters; they will come from Parking Eye, from a toothless, pathetic Debt Collector called Roxburghe; and from a PHONEY solicitor called "Graham White" which is no more than Roxburghe using a different letterhead. The amount demanded will go up, threats will be made, the amount of red ink and the font size will reach staggering proportions- hey, don't take my word for it, check it out in the sticky at the top of the forum list where all the letters are there for you to look at.
Their final act will be to do what they are doing ever more regularly as people are getting wise to their scam.
They will give up and go away, never to be heard from again.
Guaranteed!! No court, no CCJ, no bailiffs, no credit reports- NOTHING.
I should know- I have given the heave-ho to over 80 fake tickets, including many from this stable.
Any questions? If not, START IGNORING!0 -

Check through the sticky threads on this forum to see how this scam works, and what correspondence to expect (which you will ignore).
If your hubby gets wind of it, get him to read the forum as well and educate him to the unenforceability of these tickets.0 -
Thanks alot for your advice
I will ignore ignore and ignore some more! I was going to write to them prior to posting on here, glad I posted on here instead!

totally ignore this lot, they are scammers,,its not a fine, purely an unenforceable invoice,, e.g, you now owe me £1000-00 for this info,, will you pay me??? so relax ,, read the stickies, do not contact/reply to any threat o grams on behalf of parking pie/lie/spy ,despite what they say,, they are all part of the same scam,,roxburghe(zero powers) debt collectors (in red ink),,then the phoney soilicitor graham white(the red ink gets even bigger),,all share the same office, same idiot puts all the threat o grams in envelopes and posts to you,,,treat them all as loo paper,, and when you have done with them what you usually do with loo paper,, flush,,wash your hands,, and feet up,,oh,,and did i mentio,,ignore.0
