lg kg800 help wanted please

my daughter had a LG KG800 phone for christmas and she as put a security code on by messing about with it and i dont know what to do, i hadnt registered the phone yet either can anyone help please?

i dont know whether you can read the lock code on these like sony eric's, so the only option may be having to send it away to get reflashed (software reloaded)as then it may clear the lock code

it wouldn't be a birth year/date or sim card pin no would it?

ive tried allsorts she cant remember what she put, last time i buy her a phone! she cant even use her old 1 because that says insert sim and there is a sim card in it.
