Recommend car hire from Girona - Not Goldcar

Can an experienced traveller please recommend a good company to hire a car with at Girona Airport. One with transparent charges, full to full and that won't take the money from your card without permission but yet doesn't cost the earth.

I always use Carjet.com to book cars for Spain.

Their new web site allows you to specify things like fuel policy (for you it looks like a choice between Solmar & Atesa - I've never had any problems with Solmar but have never used Altesa).

The one thing I particularly like about booking through Carjet is that they're happy to cancel & re-book a car for you if the price goes down between booking & actually getting out there (saved me about £35 last year).

Hertz is actually quite good in Gerona. As long as you book direct from them and not through ryanair they also run full/full fuel policy.
I have rented from them 3-4 timer per year the last years and if you need an estate or a small MPV they have very good prices.
