What do you need it for? Gaming or just general use?
Do you want ones with programmable buttons?
Battery or rechargeable?0 -
Hi forgot to say it would be for a laptop, so would be battery...........joe2cool0

From a personal view, I bought a Microsoft mouse a year ago. It failed to work after 2 months. Under warranty, the shop changed it. Worked OK for 4 months, then that one failed. The shop agreed it was faulty and changed it again. Last month, that one failed. Still under warranty I took it back and asked for a diferentmake. I now have an HP mouse, £ 15 cheaper. Keeping my fingers crossed. I was under the impression that Microsoft would be a reliable brand, but unfortunately not.:smileyhea A SMILE COSTS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING0

For general use (I don't like using the pad on a laptop) I always get a cheap Logitech Mouse.
I've found Comet to be the cheapest place to buy. They usually have one for just under a tenner.0 -
All wireless Mice are battery (the clue is there) Logitech good and cheep, battery's last ages even if you leave it on.0

I give another vote for Logitech.
I've had an MX620 for about 18 months. Standard AA batteries last about 3-4 months with daily use.
I did move the USB receiver to the front of my tower PC as I sometimes got problems recognising clicks with it plugged in the back. The tower is below and to the side of the desk the mouse sits on. But with a laptop, I doubt you'd have any such problem.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the In My Home MoneySaving, Energy and Techie Stuff boards.
