I'm in but will be off list tomorrow as DD1 has the orthodontist. I missed her last appointment when we started with the stomach bug. Hopefully tomorrow will go to plan.

Plan for today - clear the ROD aka the dining room.

Morning all, thanks for the list. Have vacuumed and swept through house and done first job on list of washing kitchen floor. About to start work now. Have been doing flying since the new year, and last week actually managed to complete the lists although it didn't leave much time to post. However, still found a solitary piece of tinsel today. How????
Spend less now, work less later.

    Morning all,
    most of dailies done.
have started on kitchen, have cleaned hob and scrubbed all removable parts to within an inch of their lives with a brillo pad (rings, racks etc, whatever they are called! it is a gas hob).
Oven pride is currently doing its magic in oven, will leave until this afternoon then wipe out.

Still loads to do but must have a cup of tea and sit down first.

Dailies done and all kitchen wiping. AGA shelves soaking in the bath. DS3 to physio at just after 11 so I'm going to do another quick HH now on decluttering.

Lovely and sunny here now but very windy and cold, nice to look out on though.

I always thought that the point of an aga was no cleaning... if you leave the shelves in there, the dirt will burn off :D

I have been to the post office to post the first of three parcels of books, the chemist for more painkillers and some gargle, bought pipe lagging for when the floor is done at the end of the week, discovered that all the paint I used last time has been renamed, so I'll have to get them to match it

After that I couldn't fact either the cleaners (two duvets in the car for washing) or charity shop (two boxes in the car) or supermarket so went to M&S and came back with the fizzy water I needed and lots of stuff I probably didn't. But it'll save me the effort of cooking.

Mattress topper has been washed and is in the dryer, so all laundry is up to date. Have to do some work, and then more sorting out upstairs as my brother should be coming over later to help me move furniture.
