    (got trial version for 30 days...if i find get use to it i will buy it)

    Your best bet, if you are happy with using your existing version of Photoshop, is to use the compatability option detailed in post #11 by robmar0se.

    The page referred to looks complex but it's easy.

    Open up the cd-drive window with the install disc in it.
    Find setup.exe and right click on it.
    Select Run as Administrator
    Right click on setup.exe again
    Choose the Properties option
    Click on the Compatability tab at the top of the box
    Click the box marked Run in Compatability Mode for
    Choose the Windows version that you last used the program in (Windows XP should be fine).
    --- forgot to say : Click Apply or OK
    Click all the way back to the first Explore window and double click on setup.

    No need to buy a later version if the earlier one that you already have is sufficient for you.
