does anyone have any advice / experience of an electric water system with standard wet radiators? i am looking at this
Heatrae Sadia Electromax 9kW Electric Combi Boiler
and to use economy 10 which a friend of mine had installed last year- he only pays £600 a year for all his electric/ hot water/ heating for a 4 bedroom house etc
the village we live in doesn't have any gas and we are night storage heaters which are very expensive to run and i am looking for alternatives other an oil and electric panel heaters
any views would be much appreciated! :T

Whilst your friend might only spend £600 in a 4 bed house, that is atypical.
The average annual energy consumption in UK is 16,500kWh gas and 3,300kWh electric. Given that a gas boiler is not as efficient as electric, it would be reasonable to assume that an all electric consumption would be around 16,000kWh pa.
On E7 or E10 you would be lucky to get that for under £1500, probably closer to £2,000.0 -
My limited experience of electric wet heating is that it is way too expensive to use as you would gas.
