'Valid Parking' in Stockport

Bloody hell you have paid them ! You can kiss goodbye to your money then. These invoices are not fines or penalties, only a court and council can issue those. This invoice is completely unenforceable and they would never take you to court or get a ccj or effect your credit rating.

The police will tell you it's a civil matter and do nothing, you should have come here for advice before doing anything, your girlfriend certainly needs educating in this SCAM before being caught out again . Read all the sticky threads and watch all the watchdog videos that explain about this scam, yes the BBC and Ann Robinson tells you that these invoices are basically junk mail!

You can park for up to three hours free of charge/fake penalty notice on the Big Tesco car park. It was part of the agreement that they allow this when the store was given planning permission.

Sorry, Woody, but despite your earthy way of expressing things, the facT is you should not have paid the f*ckers! Tell the gf she is right it is a scam, but the ONLY reason it works is because people pay them when there's NO NEED! If no-one paid the scam would fall apart!!

Now have some fun, park there every day and when the little t*sser gives you a ticket tell him he can go spin because you've been put wise and you won't be paying. Filling him in is optional.....

and if the poster above is right you can sue to get your money back, though I would suggest you moderate the language in front of the District Judge....

its to late now, but educate your girlfriend,tell her to google,,private parking ticket scam,,,,the only legit ticket is called,,,a PENALTY charge notice( issued by police or traffic wardens),,,the scam one ,,which you have is called,,,a PARKING charge notice=not legit/fake/scam/loo paper,issued by con men/women.

With the job my girlfriend does if there are any ccj's or bad dept she would lose her job so that's the reason I paid " if it of been my car I wouldn't of paid these !!!!!! Same here. But I ignored one of these myself and can tell you that you're wrong, it's not even a fine nor a debt and will NOT result in a CCJ.

You both seem quite young if you are both naive enough to think this can happen when a scammer alleges you owe them money. You really need to wise up as these mickey mouse 'tickets' are nothing and you were ripped off. You pointlessly paid a scammer just like sending money to a phishing emailer.

You cannot possibly get a CCJ from an invoice purporting to levy charges for breach of contract, unless you first go to court, lose, and then decide not to pay. No CCJ = No bad debt = no effect on credit rating.

Still, its your money.

And if its the gf's car and she wasn't driving, = no possibility whatever of the company taking it to court. Never mind, you know now, so be sure to tell all your mates it's nothing but a cheap scam.
